Skyrim-Lydia
I loved playing skyrim,but that was before I had experienced an incident involving Lydia, an ingame character that helps you fight, and the Honingbrew Meadery. It happened like this; I was playing skyrim one day, went exploring, looted the barrels outside the Meadery, and then proceeded to go inside. I came in, bought some ingredients from the guy at the counter,then got bored and ventured further into the building, with hopes of being able to try and get to the boiler room without a key. I ended up finding a guy's bedroom., He said, "This is the last time I'm saying it, get out!" I decided to leave but the man yelled, "Guards!, Guards!" It didn't concern me that much at the moment though, but at that time the man started chasing me with a knife. I didn't want to hurt the guy because I had been in in his private room, and I would have left right then, but then Lydia runs over and guts him with her sword. Blood and guts spilled everywhere as very realistic screaming noises came through my computer speakers as the guy's intestines plopped on the ground.. It struck me that, in Skyrim never had anything like this happened to me before. The kills had never been this graphic. I then became interested in what was happening to The other people, the owners of the meadery, did not see Lydia kill him so they did not go after me. I assumed, that because that guy had called for the guards, they would be here any minute, so I decided to steal some honey nut treats from the store. Then the owner said to me, "you're as good as dead!", which struck me as funny, considering he had just pulled out a dagger while I was holding the Ancient Nord Greatsword with an enchantment of 10 magicka damage,It could one hit killl almost any normal enemy.. I decided to slash at the guy and a critical hit cutscene started. But this time it was different than all the others. My character's eyes were red and full of hate, and as my character ripped him appart limb by limb with the sword, He looked pleased with himself, and then proceeded to stick it straight through the man's chest and straight through his heart and out through the other side and the other guy fell down at my character's feet, begging for mercy. Lydia then proceeded to slit their throuts, to silence their begging and pleading for their lives. I decided to find out what would happen if my charachter attacked lydia, but as soon as my character lifted his sword and stared straight at the me, straight through the screen and said, "You have betrayed me..." Her eyes started to glow and I actually started to feel tired. I tried to reach the power button to shut my computer off, but my arms wouldn't move. Suddenly, Lydia let out a sudden blood-curdling screech, and she opened her mouth and revealed, instead of teeth, the jaws of a creature, such as a shark and her mouth stretched open impossibly wide and she dove at the screen and I, I passed out. when I woke up in the morning, I decided to play the game again. I was relieved when the game played normally from then on,but I still see her sometimes on my screen out of the corner of my eye,waiting to take me at the oppertune moment. I wonder how long I have left to live.
