Sonic 2 CENSOR
I'm a really huge Sonic fan, so on holidays I've bought the Sonic 2 Genesis EU cartridge.
Chapter 1: Green Hill Zone Act 1 (Emerald Hill Zone Act 1)
I've opened it on my Genesis and the SEGA screen was shown. Then this was shown:
CENSOR
Our infamous censorship group is back with the censored version of the Sonic 2 prototype!
I've got really confused. I've ignored it and the screen "SONIC AND MILES 'TAILS' PROWER IN" appeared. Then the Sonic 2 beta 4 intro was shown. I've tried 2-player mode, but this error was shown:
ERROR OPENING 2-PLAYER MODE
This function was censored by the CENSOR group because playing with strangers is dangerous.
I've got more really confused. I've ignored it and started 1-player mode. It started off from the Emerald Hill Zone Act 1, still named as Green Hill Zone Act 1. Sonic and Tails happily appeared and I started playing. Then I've collected all the rings, passed the Goal Post and tried to jump into the Giant Ring. Jumping into the Giant Ring failed, as after I passed the Goal Post, some static appeared. I've got even more really confused and even SCARED!!! Then after that static, the intro reappeared. I've picked the 1-player mode again and this error was shown:
ERROR OPENING CHEMICAL PLANT ZONE
This Zone was censored by the CENSOR group because of it propagandizing dangerous radiation.
I've got really even more confused. I've ignored it and the intro restarted.
Chapter 2: Aquatic Ruin Zone
I've picked the 1-player mode yet again. Then the Aquatic Ruin Zone started. Sonic and Tails happily appeared and I started playing. At one moment, I've started drowning and some static appeared again. I've got even more really confused and even SCARED!!! Then after that static, the intro reappeared again. I've picked the 1-player mode yet again and this error was shown:
ERROR OPENING CASINO NIGHT ZONE
This Zone was censored by the CENSOR group because of it referencing casino gambling games which are dangerous as you lose your money.
I've got really even more confused. I've ignored it and the intro restarted.
Chapter 3: Green Hill Zone Act 2 (Emerald Hill Zone Act 2)
I've picked the 1-player mode yet again. Then it started off from the Emerald Hill Zone Act 2, still named as Green Hill Zone Act 2. Then I've collected all the rings and got to the Egg Drillster. After the Egg Mobile flew away after the defeat of the boss, the Egg Drillster was set on fire and thrown into the shredder. Then the shredder turned into the capsule. Then Sonic and Tails destroyed the capsule and run away. I got really happy as the text "SONIC GOT THROUGH ACT 2" appeared.
Chapter 4: Mystic Cave Zone, Hidden Palace Zone and Death Egg Zone
Then the Mystic Cave Zone started. I've collected all the rings, passed the Goal Post and tried to jump into the Giant Ring. Giant Ring failed, as after I passed the Goal Post, some static appeared. Behind the static, the Hidden Palace Zone title card was shown. Then the static stopped and Hidden Palace Zone was shown. Sonic and Tails happily appeared and I started playing. However the Hidden Palace Zone had some VHS effect on it. Then I've collected all the rings, then I got to the Death Egg Zone. Then I started walking to the boss fight, but it resulted in the SMPTE Color Bar Zone.
Chapter 5: SMPTE Color Bar Zone
The SMPTE Color Bar Zone was the scariest and the most confusing of all Zones. The whole Zone's textures looked identical to the parts of the SMPTE color bars. The music was the scariest, even more scarier than the Death Egg Zone boss fight, it was 1KHZ tone. Sonic and Tails appeared crying of pain. I freaked out of fear. The time was already 9 minutes and GAME OVER appeared.
Chapter 6: The Kill Screen
The SEGA Genesis kill screen appeared. It was the BSOD from Windows 2.0, bruh. I've turned off my SEGA Genesis of big confusion.
Chapter 7: The Aftermath
Even after the kill screen, my SEGA Genesis still works as I still continue playing Sonic 1 on it. Then, Sonic and Tails got their own babies. They along with their babies came into my house and I started caring for the babies along with Sonic and Tails.
