Sonic the Hedgehog Spookypasta

When I was little, my favorite game was Sonic The Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis. It was the first game I had ever played and it got me into the world of video games. My favorite franchise was Sonic. I got all the games ever made, including the super bad ones like Sonic The Hedgehog (2006) and that one where Sonic teached kids to spell or something. But my favorite of them all was Sonic 2.

Recently I had beaten once again Sonic Colors and Sonic and The Black Knight. They were good, but not as good as Sonic 2. Ah, memories came of the time when I first finished the game, and when I got all the Chaos Emeralds and turned into Super Sonic, and the debug mode. That thing was awesome, especially Ashura. For some reason I loved that Green Hedgehog. So, I went to my room and went to my Sonic Collection, games, comics, action figures, posters, I had it all. I found Sonic 2 and quickly connected my Genesis and popped in the cartridge. It didn't work. I was heartbroken and went to sleep because it was getting late.

The next day I went to Ebay and found a lot of Sonic 2 cartridges and clicked in one of them. The guy who was selling it was a guy with positive feedback, so I decided to bid on it. I won the bid. I received a e-mail from the guy that was selling it and it said:

"You will regret this"

Huh, weird. Anyway the game came earlier than expected and I quickly opened the box and took out the game. There was a note attached to the game that said:

"Thank you for purchasing this game, now prepare for the worst"

Okay that was creepy, but I didn't give a damn and started playing it. It started like normal, the Sega logo, the Sonic Team presents and then it got a little weird. Sonic popped out on the title screen but there was no Tails, and there was no music. "Must be a glitch or something" I thought to myself. I went to the options and putted the level select code and the debug code. I choose Emerald Hill Zone and began playing hoping to relive my childhood memories. I was wrong.

The level name was "Dlareme Llih Zone Act 1". At first I was like what? but then I realized that is was Emerald Hill spelled backward. When I went into the level it looked different, it was darker, and the sky was black. There was no music either. I went through the whole level without finding a enemy. I decided to try debug mode, but it didn't work. Everytime I wanted to turn into something, Sonic died. I stopped trying since I was losing my lifes and finished the level. "Dlareme Llih Zone Act 25" Act 25? What the hell? Everything was black, Sonic was just standing there I tried to move but there was invisible walls preventing me to. I jumped and then I was transported to another level called "Zone Act" It was like the Death Egg. But where Mecha Sonic was supposed to be there was nothing. I went on and there was no Giant Mech either. I keep on walking until I fell down in space and then it began counting like I was drowning. Sonic drowned and then it said "You killed him, good job". I was so desvasted by killing by favorite charater that I died.
