So I was having a normal day, and I decided to just watch some TV. To my surprise, SpongeBob was on the TV, despite the fact it was around 2 am. I brushed it off, thinking it might just be some kind of sneak peek for a new episode. I sat myself down, got some popcorn and soda pop, and decided to watch it.
That my grave mistake.
The episode started normal, except the... "odd" title card.
I saw your Balls.
To be honest, I thought it was a troll. I mean, come on. Who would believe this? Anyways, the episode was continuing normally aside from the title card. SpongeBob and Patrick just bothering Squidward, like they always would. Though, something was off. Squidward didn't talk, and had his face hung low to the ground the whole time. This further fed into my theory that it was some troll episode. Though, I was wrong. SpongeBob and Patrick were also odd. They trashed Squidward's house, destroyed his stuff, and other things.
But one thing traumatized me forever.
As the music slowly cuts out, the camera pans to SpongeBob. He dropped his spatula, and instead picked up a knife. I thought this was one of those episodes trying to change things up, maybe adding a new food to the Krusty Krab?
That wasn't it.
SpongeBob slowly walks up behind Mr. Krabs, with a guilty look in his eyes.
"I'm sorry Mr. Krabs."
SpongeBob plunged the knife into Mr. Krabs's back. I'm going to be honest here. I was expecting the typical hyper realistic creepypasta blood. But, it wasn't that. It stayed within the normal style of SpongeBob. This really disturbed me. If this really was a troll, then they're really good at mimicking the art style. SpongeBob quickly runs away to tell Patrick the news.
Except... SpongeBob had said something weird. Instead of telling the whole truth, he pinned the blame on Squidward. This confused me. As if everything else wasn't weird enough, this just felt... off. Well, of course it did. From the odd title card, to everything else happening. It obviously was some sort of mistake, or an elaborate joke. I'm not even sure now. Anyways, back to the episode. SpongeBob and Patrick break down Squidward's door, and walk up to him. His head is still hung down to the ground.
"SQUIDWARD! YOU KILLED HIM!" SpongeBob's voice sounded... weird. It was so close to his real voice. Squidward slowly turned his head up, staring slowly right up at me.
"I saw your balls."
I didn't know how to feel. On one hand, I was disturbed. On the other hand... it was hilarious. Though, I was curious. Why did SpongeBob do that? There was never a reason stated. Maybe they wanted to try out something more... risky with Squidward. Was Mr. Krabs even dead? This could easily just be some prank. Especially with the... balls.
