SpongeBob Movie.mp4
Last night on March 25, 2004, I was playing SMB1 on my NES in my room (I like how you save the princess in the game), then i got bored and went on my computer.
I found a file called "THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE LOST DELETED SCENE.zip" on 4shared. As you would expect, i was interested. I downloaded on 4shared. There were two files: a .txt file called "readme". i opened it. it said
"This is an deleted scene from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, dated January 15, 2004. This originally planned to add it to the movie but wasn't added and deleted for some reasons. Watch at your own risk."
I closed the .txt file and there was a movie file that went by the name of "SpongeBob.mp4". I then double clicked the movie file as Windows Media Player popped up.
At first, there was a minute of pure static. Then it cut to the logos, but something was wrong about it.
The bubbles in the Nickelodeon Movies logo looked very rough, like it wasn't fitted in yet. The audio was also pitched down two octaves and was in g-major. So after the logos, of course, the text appeared. It had a black background and the text was bloody red. It was called The SpongeBob Movie.
As you would expect, I was very shocked. But I thought at first that this was maybe just a morbid joke, seeing how this logo looked somewhat unfinished. It skipped the thing. I snagged a screenshot of it, imported it to Paint.NET and saved it to my computer. I still have the file, called it "image40.png". So I finally got to see the deleted scene.
Act One started, SpongeBob was sitting on his bed, crying. The crying went on and on, it got more pained, and sounded more realistic, better acting than you would think possible. The animation started to decay even more as he cried, and you could hear murmuring in the background. The character could barely be made out, he was stretching and blurring, he looked like deformed shadows with random bright colors thrown on him.
This sobing went on for all of act one. Act two opened with SpongeBob still crying on his bed. He touched his eye and cried. he cried really loudy and super loud. Then, shows to the scene where he had black and red eyes and he has blood on his skin. He has a red Krusty Krab hat and yellow feet.. I snagged another screenshot of it, imported it to Paint.NET and saved it to my computer. I still have the file, called it "sponge.png". The picture scares the crap out of me. Screaming is heard in the background. the screen switchs to Patrick's dead body in the ground laying. Act two ended with the shot of SpongeBob's killer. When act three started, SpongeBob is trying to kill Patrick with a shotgun and died. The final image was SpongeBob killing himself and lays in the bed, but all drawn in hyper realistic.
Then it ends, with a black screen and text saying: "The dead will rise and you are the next to die." Then the credits roll, for some reason only listing: "(C) 2000 Nickelodeon". I was mad because The SpongeBob Movie is not made in 2000, it was in 2004.
I deleted the mp4 and txt files. I will NEVER experience something like that again.
I had nightmares about this deleted scene, sometimes I dreamt about the creepy spongebob picture. Sometimes I saw it at night when I'm tried to sleep, just out of the corner of my eye. It's always brief, but I always felt it watching me.
However in November 2004, when the real movie came out, I got to the page where i downloaded the mp4 file, but It was gone. So, I was happy.
