SpongeBob SquarePants: The Death of Patrick
Hello. This thing happened to me a few months ago. I just need it to share this with anybody.
It all started with me in the Starbucks' coffee store, and I was on my laptop, surfing through YouTube to look for some of my favorite SpongeBob videos.
There is one that will change my outlook on SpongeBob, there was a video that was titled, "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Death of Patrick."
"The Death of Patrick?" I thought. I clicked the video, and the video played.
The Video
The intro played but it was loud and scraggily. The quality was horrible, but before the intro started, I could've sworn that a frame popped in to the video. I did not pause it, but I took a guess at it about what it was.
After the intro, the title card showed up saying, "The Death of Patrick," with a red bloody-drippy font, while a music box was playing in the background.
I thought that this was actually a sick joke, but I decide to move on.
It then cuts to SpongeBob and Patrick playing a video-game at SpongeBob's house.
"I love this game...." SpongeBob says.
"Me too." Patrick says.
SpongeBob hits a button, and jumps up.
"I JUST BEAT MY HIGHSCORE!" SpongeBob shouts, then he laughs.
"Really?" Patrick said.
"No one's ever beat the boss level!" SpongeBob says.
"Exactly!" Patrick replies.
"They should give me a prize!" SpongeBob smirks.
"SpongeBob, stop showing off!" Patrick says.
"I just beat the high score! I should show off!"
"SpongeBob, it's just a video game."
SpongeBob's face disappears for a second.
"WHAAAAAAAAT!!! THIS IS NOT SOME ORDINARY VIDEO GAME! I GREW UP MASTERING THIS GAME!!!" SpongeBob screams at Patrick.
"Let's just go somewhere." Patrick says, as he was about to exit SpongeBob's door.
"But where?" SpongeBob asks.
"I know! Fiery Fist O' Pain!" Patrick replies.
"Fiery Fist O' Pain?"
"Yeah! Remember that place!? It is that insane roller-coaster." Patrick replies.
"O.... kay. Let's go meet Sandy, Mr. Krabs and Squidward there."
"Yeah. Good idea."
They both walked out of the door. The camera then transitions to SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs and Sandy in line for Glove World.
"Remember last time we went here?" Patrick says, with a worried look.
"Of course!" SpongeBob trembles.
"Yeah. Glove World is the coolest place ever!" Patrick shouts.
Soon, it's their turn to get on the ride. SpongeBob exchanges a worried look.
"This place is sick." he says as he looks at the huge roller coaster.
They get on, and oh man, they're going so fast.
Patrick realizes his belt isn't on tight enough and is sucked out in am matter of seconds.
Then, I was facing a sick visage of Patrick plummeting 50 feet into the air, and lands on the ground with a disgusting crack. I didn't want to look, but I knew I had to.
The camera stays on Patrick's dead, smashed body. Blood was all around him. SpongeBob ran over to him, mortified.
"PATRICK!" He screams.
He dropped to his knees, and hugged Patrick's carcass. He started crying as he stared at Patrick's disemboweled body. A crowd sadly gathered behind SpongeBob, and was watching. Someone who claimed he was a doctor ran over to Patrick, and gasped.
He stood up, and told SpongeBob it's too late. What I saw next made me almost cry. It was Patrick's funeral, and everyone was there. SpongeBob, Squidward, Mr. Krabs and Sandy. They all stared at Patrick's body for a while, before starting to cry.
The camera abruptly cuts to static.
When the camera starts up again, they're no longer at the funeral. They're at SpongeBob's house. He, and his friends are sitting there, crying.
The crying sounded realistic, though.
"SpongeBob, I'm so sorry about your friend." Mr. Krabs says as he pats SpongeBob on the back.
SpongeBob didn't respond. He kept on crying.
"This is all my fault! I lost my best friend!"
SpongeBob, depressed, went up to his room. He sat on the side of his bed for a heck of a long time. He didn't even cry, it was as still as a picture. Silent as ever.
Then, I thought I heard the sound of crying. But it wasn't SpongeBob. His mouth wasn't moving, and the crying was too faint to be SpongeBob's. I then heard whispers. I could sort of tell what they were saying, it was like this:
"He's so sad."
"I know."
"Well, we can't just leave him sitting there."
"You're right."
"Let's surprise him."
Then, the whispers stop. Suddenly, the whole screen cuts to black while violent screaming could be heard. The camera then cut to SpongeBob, Squidward, and Sandy revisiting Patrick Star's grave.
There, lying in front of the tombstone lay Patrick, looking just like he did when he fell out of the roller coaster. SpongeBob walked up to Patrick, while Squidward and Sandy held hands.
"Patrick..." SpongeBob said. "I'll never see you again, and that is why I'm doing this."
SpongeBob then dropped dead next to Patrick's carcass. Squidward and Sandy started crying. The camera stayed on SpongeBob and Patrick's dead bodies lying together.
Then the screen cut to black.
Conclusion
As far as I know, no one else has seen the video, but it got deleted for no reason.
But if you ever find a copy of the video titled, "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Death of Patrick", I want you to never view it.
But if it's there, this means this has to be huge.
