SpongeBob Squarepants - Truth
Hello. There is a supposed lost episode of SpongeBob Squarepants. Today, I'm going to share it with you. The episode was released in 2012. The episode was called Truth. So, basically, I worked at Nickeloden Studios. I got to see most of the episodes earlier than anyone else. Which was good for me. But, there were some really strange episodes. Like a episode of T.U.F.F Puppy where he cries for 2 minutes. I mean, how strange can that be? But, that's a story for another day. I guess. But this story is not gonna last two minutes.
The episode I'm about to tell you has never made it to our screens for being, too disturbing. I walked into a room, alone. I found a dusty-looking disk. It seemed like a DVD. It had the name of the episode written on it and it was a yellow DVD. This may have been left behind. From, somewhere. So, I decided to turn the DVD Player on and I inserted the DVD. It started normally.
The Paramount Logo came onto the screem, but it was broken in half. Like a sinking iceberg. It cut to a different menu. This seemed to be called Language Selection. There were only two languages. English and Spanish. Spanish wouldn't work. So, I had to choose English. The main screen came back. The only option was play. The background was SpongeBob and the rest of his friends. It looked quite normal. As I clicked play, for a split second, I saw SpongeBob stare at me with a sinister-looking smirk.
"What? I thought. I was confused. I kept watching. The normal pirate appeared.
"Are ya ready kids?" He said.
The children, they didn't respond. The pirate contiuned.
"I can't hear you!" He said. The children, again. They didn't respond. The intro contiuned as normal. Although, there were alterations from the original. The children saying the words SpongeBob Squarepants were entiely silent. At the end, SpongeBob wasn't there to play his nose like a flute. It stayed on the logo for around 5 seconds. Then, it cut to the title card.
The title card seemed to be glitching a bit. It had the name of the episode written on it. It had a normal SpongeBob background. The normal happy SpongeBob music was playing. But, no creators were shown. It cut to the episode. It started with footage of SpongeBob's house. The camera zoomed into his bedroom. He was lying in his bed, sleeping. The foghorn blared and the sound played for a split second. SpongeBob rushed out of his bed. SpongeBob put on his normal clothes as he walked outside.
"I'm ready!" SpongeBob yelled, in excitement.
The next scene seemed to be SpongeBob running. There were sounds of what seemed like wind. This wind really sounded like it was coming from behind me. Then, I heard a growl. I ignored it.
SpongeBob ran into the Krusty Krab. I felt happy. He ran in happily.
"Good morning, customers!" Spongebob yelled, in joy.
The customers cheered. SpongeBob went into the office of Mr Krabs. Just to ask him something.
"Hey, Krabs!" SpongeBob said.
"Ahoy there, SpongeBob!" Mr Krabs replied.
"Uhh, there's so many customers, how do you feed them all?" SpongeBob asked.
"Boyo, boyo, boyo, just do what you always do!" Mr Krabs said.
"Uhh, I don't know if I can." SpongeBob said, quietly.
"Why not, boyo?" Mr Krabs said.
"Because of my day-off, I've been feeling, low, I need work!" SpongeBob yelled.
"OK, boyo, you can start by serving those customers pronto!" Mr Krabs said.
"Yes sir!" SpongeBob said, proudly.
SpongeBob started to work the grill. He looked nervous.
"Alright, SpongeBob, you can do this." SpongeBob said.
He flipped the patties and he served them to the customers. SpongeBob was happy. Too happy. Something felt, off. Some of the frames of the episode itself featured SpongeBob with no eyes. Just black holes. But, moving on. SpongeBob seemed really happy. Natrually, SpongeBob started to get his mood back. SpongeBob started to think.
"Wow, I guess I done a really good job!" SpongeBob thought to himself.
Squidward was not at his cash register.
"Uhh, Mr Krabs?" SpongeBob asked.
"What is it, boyo?" Mr Krabs said.
"Squidward is not here..." SpongeBob said.
"What?!" Mr Krabs said, fuming.
"I'm pretty sure that he was gonna have a 'day-off', possibly?" SpongeBob said.
"Then, cook faster, boy!" Mr Krabs ordered.
"Can do, Mr Krabs!" SpongeBob said.
SpongeBob started to cook patties at rapid speed. The customers were satisfied. But. Spongebob was beginning to look, odd. He looked very tired. His skin looked like it was about to harden like cement. His bones were exposed and he seemed very sleepy. He accidently burned his face on the grill. A prominant burn mark was shown.
"I wish I could stop..." SpongeBob said, with a tired expression on his face.
"Keep cooking!" Mr Krabs ordered.
SpongeBob had enough. He walked up to Mr Krabs. He had a, expression. Not just his happy expression. But, a angry expression.
"That's it, I'm getting outta here, you're overworking me, I'm getting out!" SpongeBob shouted.
"Come back, boyo! These customers are getting restless!" Mr Krabs shouted.
"No, do it yourself!" SpongeBob sobbed.
"Aw barnacles, here we go." Mr Krabs said.
It cut to SpongeBob's house. SpongeBob was sat on the floor. The screen was darker.
"Gare-Bare..." SpongeBob sniffled.
"Meow." Gary said.
"Wanna know what happened today?" SpongeBob cried.
"Meow?" Gary replied.
"I ran out of the Krusty Krab, Mr Krabs was overworking me too much." SpongeBob said.
"Meow!" Gary sobbed.
"Yeah, I know it's sad, but hey, at least I have you!" SpongeBob said.
Gary suddenly disappeared. SpongeBob's jaw dropped. The jaw itself. It. Was. Unhinged. Unlike SpongeBob's normal jaw. SpongeBob screamed and he started to cry.
"No!" Spongebob cried.
I was crying, too. Was Gary apart of SpongeBob's mind? But, then. I found out the truth.
"Gary is not real, viewers. There I said it! I made him up..." SpongeBob sobbed.
SpongeBob ran upstairs. He looked in his drawer. He found a pistol. His eyes were filling up with realistic-looking tears. Not just realistic. But the tears were, hyper-realistic! The next scene broke my heart. SpongeBob put the pistol into his mouth. He said one final thing.
"Goodbye, viewers." SpongeBob said. Then, he pulled the trigger. Blood was shown. However, this blood. It. Was. Just realistic and rather normal-looking blood. Nothing crazy. But the ending broke me. I grabbed some tissues and I dried my weeping eyes. I locked the DVD somewhere.
This person who made the episode is unknown. Also, they say that the episode has been leaked on YouTube...
