Super Mario Bros. (Creepypasta)

One time, I was browsing eBay for some Nintendo games. I had just bought the console about a week ago off of the site and I still didn't have any games for it. Then, I found the game right for me. It was a mint-condition Super Mario Bros. cartridge, and even better, it was only $5.99 with free shipping. Of course I thought it was a little weird that someone would be selling one of them for about the price of a bag of chips, but I couldn't miss that deal. Even more weird was that nobody had put in bid for it. There was only 15 seconds left, so I placed my bid of 6 dollars.

About a week later, it arrived in the mail. I cut open the package to see the box. There was a big red stain on it. I felt kind of stupid, but then again, the cartridge sticker was fine. I jammed the thing into my Nintendo and turned it on. I was greeted by the familliar title screen. I pressed start. The game started flashing and making corrupted noises. I quickly turned the system off. What had happened? I just brushed it off and turned the game back on. This time, the Super Mario Bros didn't pop up on the screen. All I saw was Mario jumping up and down. Then, he just froze in mid-air.I thought it was common glitches a game might have. No big deal. I pressed start and the game started. Then I realized Mario had no lives. Then the game started. The music was slow and dark, and the enemies were just flashing pixels. It was like a horror movie. When I made Mario run, he wouldn't move. When I released my grip, Mario ran so fast, you couldn't see the background. The music sped up as well as Mario. He was running through over all of the pits as if he were God.

Then the game just stopped. It was frozen. I was frozen. Then I heard a slow one up noise. I was freaked out. I was just terrified. I couldn't move I was so scared. Then, The screen flashed the number "666" , and the sound of coins arose in the background rapidly. I quickly unplugged the TV and the sound continued. Then on the TV, in place of the Super Mario Bros., there was my name flashing across the screen.

Then, it showed a pixelated version of my face. Slowly, it started to melt off of the screen. I screamed and cried. I knew I shouldn't have bought it. Suddenly, I realized my shirt was covered in a red liquid. It was blood. The words "Obey Satan" popped up on the screen. There was evil laughter, and the silence. Just dead silence.

Then, a skull popped up on the screen and screamed at me. It was bloodcurdling. Then, slowly, the Nintendo rose up, as if someone was lifting it, and then slammed on the ground, smashing it to pieces. I was relieved. I was crying my eyes out. I looked on the back of the left behind cartridge. There was a note taped to it. It read "Don't Move". Just then, I heard the Mario theme play out in the hallway, as well as loud stomping. Then there was a bright flashing and the coin noise loudened as it head back to the room I was in. I felt like I was falling. Then there was a lound scream, and it went black.

I never should have bought the game. I should have looked for another one. I was terrified. I eventually ended up in an Asylum after I called the police. They thought I was insane. They thought I was joking. Why would they think that? Why?
