Super Mario Logan: The Nuclear Explosion

The video began with Mario going to sit on the white couch. Mario sighed and said to himself, "Now that Jeffy's out playing, I can finally relax for an hour or two. I wonder what's on the news." Mario sat down and turned on the TV. A breaking news broadcast came on, with the normal news anchor reading out the news story.

"Breaking news. A nuclear bomb has been launched against the United States. The nuclear missile launched from North Korea is expected to hit in the next fifteen minutes. All citizens are being told to go into shelters now."

The news anchor spoke more seriously than normal, and the entire scene was almost devoid of any light-heartedness. The scene cut to Mario on the couch, who's, reasonably, now freaking out.

"A nuclear bomb?!" Mario said in disbelief, "I gotta get out of here!"

The camera cut to Mario outside, throwing a backpack into a car trunk and getting into the car, taking off down the road, seemingly leaving Jeffy behind in his panic. The camera then cut to Junior, Cody, and Joseph, standing out in front of the house. They were having a casual conversation about what they were going to do that day when a siren started up in the distance.

"What's going on?" Junior asked in a worried voice.

"I don't know!" Cody replied in an equally scared tone.

Just then, the scene quickly cut to Bowser in his bed, being awoken by a loud explosion sound. He looked around frantically, calling for his son when the scene froze, fell silent, and turned black and white as the screen was engulfed in white. The scene cut back to Junior, Cody, and Joseph as they burst into flames. The sky was filled with a bright blinding light. Junior, Cody, and Joseph began to scream in agony as the plushies themselves burned, exposing stuffing as the fabric burned away. I have to say that the actors were doing a really good job in giving Junior and his friends their throat-shredding screams of pain as they burned. The plushies were now burning on the concrete driveway, as they were getting completely engulfed in flames and the actors presumably can no longer hold the plushies with their hands.

The camera cut to Chef Pee Pee, who had stopped cleaning in the kitchen. He had barely enough time to wonder to himself what was going on before the shockwave from the explosion began ripping through the entire house. The sound of snapping wood and smashing glass can be heard. Chef Pee Pee turned to see the entire kitchen getting consumed by a wave of fire. He screamed as he was hit. Chef Pee Pee froze as the puppet faded into a silhouette. The screaming of Chef Pee Pee can still be heard as the silhouette of Chef Pee Pee exploded into a cloud of ash and dust that was quickly blown away by the explosion. This scene reminded me of the nuclear explosion scene from the movie Terminator 2: Judgement Day, for comparison of what the scene looked like. The entire time this scene played out, the background was black with quick bursts of red and orange with a looped track of the same smashing wood and glass sounds as before, with added sounds of rushing wind.

The scene cut to Jeffy playing in the backyard. He stopped whatever he was doing and looked towards the house. The shockwave from the explosion ripped the house apart as pieces of it flew everywhere. Jeffy screamed as he too was engulfed by the shockwave.

The screen faded to white for a second before it faded to a scene of the backyard. The camera panned out slowly. The Super Mario Logan house lied in ruins. The sky was reddish-orange in color as a mushroom cloud rose in the distance. The Jeffy puppet was laying face-down in the backyard. As the camera panned out, you can hear Jeffy softly crying, "Daddy...Daddy...Daddy...". The only other sound was that of fire quietly crackling in the background. The video faded to black and ended without an SML question or any advertisement for SML merch.

What did I think about this video? I genuinely liked it. Unfortunately, I can no longer provide the link to the video, as I couldn't find the video anywhere on the SML channel or any of the other channels, or any reuploads on YouTube. If anyone finds this video, please let me know. I do really want to watch it again.
