Survive
My name was Aaron Boykin, and I'm here to tell you a frightening experience I've had on my 6th birthday. I was having a birthday party with my family in the park when suddenly, clouds filled the sky and lighting strikes. My dad was a war veteran so he was always the leader. He yelled "GET IN THE CAR!"
And then some UFOs appeared out of the clouds. It was a struggle but we got home and slept in the basement. The next day dad decided that we would stay together so we wouldn`t get hurt after getting a phone call from Dr. Nicholas (a friend of my dad) that we had to be sneaky, because those aliens have reached the ground. I saw an alien in the distance; it exposed its tentacles and rips off a human head. At that moment I was going to throw up but held it in order to not be detected by them. We made it to the doctor's laboratory in the Circuit City University. He said that in the Titansburg Research Labs, they were experimenting an alien species; they tried to clone one of them (the aliens), but the experiment went wrong; they escaped with the clone and returned to their homeworld to start an invasion.
The doctor said dad was the greatest hero around and that he might be our only hope. The aliens' control tower was, according to him, located on Mount Circuit. Dad went with Mom and the doctor to take down the control tower.
My dad told me not to go, but I hid in the car; I think I could help them. However, when we arrived, Dad found me and yelled, "I TOLD YOU NOT TO COME!" The doctor calmed him down on grounds that we have to focus on the current task at hand. Too late though. A huge beam of light suddenly appeared, levitating us to what I assumed was their mother ship. "Aaron, Aaron... It's okay... We will be okay." Dad told me. When I saw light again, those aliens were holding us. Another alien appeared in front of us; it was the clone. "You dare resist us... Well, not any more." it said in an angry voice. It showed us a machine. A brainwashing machine that the aliens are planning to use to turn humans into their slaves.
"NO!" Dad yelled. He broke free, got his gun and shot the aliens holding us. Dad lead us to a escape pod when they managed to disarm him. He puts us in it, pressed the button, and left the door shut. I yelled "NOOO! DAD!", with tears going down my eyes. As the pod fell to Earth, the mothership was destroyed. Dad sacrificed his life to save us.
The mothership's destruction unleashes a wave that brainwashed most of the aliens and humanity. Some people were lucky to remember some of their past, and reunited with their families, I'm one of them but sadly people that did not wondered the woods alone.
The invasion ravaged the Earth, splitting continents apart, reducing great cites like Circuit City to small towns. The aliens and humans who fail to remember the tragedies, lived in peace. They renamed themselves and renamed their towns, learning to co-exist in peace. But here I am, living in the mountains trying to forget the events that cost my father's life. 4 years later after that incident, I went to Dr. Nicholas' new office, as a journey awaits me...
...He said "which Pokemon will you choose, Red?"
