TOLATE.wmv
It's just like any other normal day, me, just sitting there behind the computer screen. My parents were gone for the day, so I was on the internet for the night. I was on Facebook just seeing what all of my friends are up to. I suddenly got a friend request from some person named 'IKNOWYOU YOUCANTHIDE'.
I thought this was just one of my friends playing a joke on me and curious little me I was stupid enough to accept the request. The computer screen dimmed, a chat box suddenly opened and the 'person' (I'm not sure if its even human) started talking to me. He typed 'I KNOW YOUR FEAR' and then he sent me a link to download a file.
I was wondering what the hell was he talking about. I shrugged and clicked the link. Then an ominous feeling struck me. I knew that the file was going to be something bad so I struck the off button and to my surprise the computer didn't turn off. A box on the screen came up saying 'TOOLATE.wmv is downloaded. Open file?' I stared at the computer screen, shaking. The only option I had was to open the file, the exit and cancel buttons didn't work.
I muttered to myself 'What's the worst that could happen.' I moved the mouse over the 'Open' option. I closed my eyes and opened the file. I opened my eyes to see that the file was a corrupted video file, I let out a huge sigh of relief when all of a sudden I heard a loud ding coming from my computer and by loud I do mean LOUD. I checked to see if I left my speakers turned on but they weren't even plugged in.
I saw that the person who sent me the file told me something. I checked his message and he said 'open it'. I was confused, does he know that the file is corrupted? I was going to press the file again until it opened by itself. My heart was pumping fast. The video started off in a dark room where you could see a figure curled up in the corner, crying.
I realized that the person was surrounded in a pool of blood. I saw it slowly standing up but the scene was cut. The scene after it the cut showed no one in the room but on the walls you could faintly see 'Behind you' writing in blood. Frozen I stared at the screen, I saw the person that was in the corner coming back onto the screen.
The lights turned on in the room and I could see that the person was a man that had long black hair, wearing nothing but trousers and it looked up. I hesitated, the camera done a close up to the person, he smiled and let out a loud scream. The sound came out of nowhere since the speakers were unplugged. I cupped my ears in pain because of the sound.
I turned around to see the man from the video wielding a machete in his hand. I look up to him crying and he just grinned at me.
