The Buzz

I was sitting outside the last night, enjoying a cold monster energy drink on my veranda. Then, I heard a faint noise coming from my left. It was a small buzzing noise. Then I saw a small wasp fly in front of me, faster than I could blink. Terrified, I put down my monster energy drink and began scouting the area, but it was too dark to see anything. I could still hear the loud noise echoing around me, so in terror I picked up a nearby newspaper and began punching around me in hopes of killing the beast. It did not stop. Maybe I had just gone insane but the noise only got louder and louder by the minute. I sat down again, almost fainting from stress. Could you blame me? The wasp could be anywhere. I quickly reached for my monster energy drink and took a quick sip, but the moment I swallowed I felt something other than the drink going down my throat. At that moment the buzzing stopped.
