The Fragments of the Mirror

One day, I was playing a game on my system, and I went looking for games out on the street. I went to the store. I saw a interesting looking game on the shelf. It was titled. "The Remnants of The Mirror." I bought it. Then I went home and played the game. It started up, with a loading screen of a shattered mirror. I clicked play and opened a new save file. I started as a strange young man. He didn't have any distinct features. I walked down a hall. Eventually, I found a shard. I picked it up. A text box appeared. It said. "No." I kept walking. I picked up more and more shards. Each time another text box appearing, saying something akin to "No, Stop, This is bad." Eventually, I walked to the end of the hall. There was an empty frame of a mirror. I put the shards in, and they somehow melted together. This, is where the game truly begun.

The Game

I walked into the mirror. I exited in a massive room of mirrors. Mirrors everywhere. I simply approached one. A text box said. "Break it?" I got the options yes or no. I choose yes. My character punched the mirror, shattering it. I kept walking. I walked endlessly, until I exited through a heavy metal door. I saw a town. No music played, none had. Nothing remained of this town. Nothing but a few charred houses. Suddenly, it cut to black. A text box appeared. "Lets play a game." It cut to a small room. I was chained to a chair. The seconds turned to minutes. My character struggled and struggled. Eventually, I found the key was taped under the table next to me. I used it to free my character. I walked out the door. I walked through. I walked throughout the dark room. It was sad, lonely. Nothing was in the room. I found the exit. I entered a dining room. It had red eyes at one chair, the rest of the body was cloaked in shadow. My character sat down in the chair opposite. They ate food. The food was nothing strange. After finishing the last bite, the red eyes disappeared. I walked through the next door. There was a person. They were on the floor, they had been shot through the chest. Their eyes followed me as a I moved past through the Dark room. Suddenly, a hallway appeared. a text box appeared. "Run." I turned and saw the dead person levitating towards me. I fled down the hallway, and escaped it, closing the door behind me. I then entered what appeared to be an empty torturer's chamber. These bodies' eyes did not follow me, however. Entering the next room revealed nothing. I was given a flashlight. I walked. Nothing happened. I slowly traversed the area. I found the door, and quickly opened it, entering the next room. I encountered a girl who when interacted with, stated. "For every person who dies, 2.5 more are born, what's the point of living?" I kept walking. I encountered another person, who said. "There is a house burning down... somewhere." I kept walking. Another person. "Life is just the wait for death, if you think about it." I exited the room. The game ended. Further attempts to reply the game yielded nothing. I closed the game and pulled out the disc. I put the disc in the container. I kept it in a drawer, as I didn't want anyone playing it, but I didn't want to destroy the evidence for anything. I took it and posted a picture of the disc and cover online. I'm not sure what happened.

The Epilogue

I later sold the game on E-Bay. I hope that wasn't a bad choice. I don't feel like the game did anything to me. It was just strange, I guess. Well, that's all for now.
