The Last Time I Was On Team Fortress 2 (Improved Version)

The last time I played TF2 was a disturbing one. For those who don't know what it is, it is a team based FPS where two teams, Red and Blu, have a certain objective for a game mode. It's a really great game, and its free.
But anyway, my friend, Dylan, went out of town, and lent me his laptop to use while he was gone, since my computer was a piece of crap. Now when I say a laptop, I mean those $2000 alienware laptops.
So I booted up TF2, and once it started up, something odd happened, instead of taking me to the main menu, it just threw me into the server loading screen. "Odd," I thought. After a few minutes of loading, I was brought to the class selection screen.
This was also weird, I never saw the server info screen or the team selection screen. Now I heard of Mods and hacks. But there was something odd about this. A low feeling in my gut told me to leave now. But me, being me, didn't.
So I selected a spy and was on my way.
Big mistake.
I have no idea what game mode I was in, looked like payload. But I also had no idea where I was, the room was pitch black, there was also no one else in the server. So I decided to press esc. But nothing happened. I then started to spam it, still nothing.
Just then a light appeared, so I continued to walk towards it, but as I was getting closer the TF2 song was playing in reverse at a low pitch, and was getting louder and louder. It got so loud that I had to mute my volume.
After a minute, at the light was a portal, not a portal from Portal, just a portal. So I walked through it.
Another mistake.
I came upon a room, and there was no way out. The only light was coming from a lamp in the corner. That's when I heard a guitar, I turned around and there was an enemy engineer. "Finally," I said. I shot him in the head with The Ambassador.
But instead of falling to the ground, he just vanished. Then someone in the voicechat yelled "DO YOU KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO EXPERINCE REAL PAIN!?" This freaked me out since the volume was muted, just then the laptop FREAKING BURSTED INTO FLAMES!
I felt bad about that, so I bought him a new laptop and told him what happened. I excepted him to call me crazy, but he didn't, he started crying. "Is there something wrong?" I asked him. He replied trembling over his voice.
"A few years ago, my brother was shot in the face. Before he died, he looked at me right in the eye, and said 'Do you know what its like to experience real pain?' and then died." He then took the laptop and walked away.
Its been a week, and I haven't heard from him. I hope he's ok...
