The boneless
This is the first time i can finally talk about my experience, i don't tell people for fear of being arrested or my reputation being ruined. I still see posters of my missing friend everyday, still missing for 14 years he's gone. I'll tell this story here since i never told anyone about until now, it was 2008 i was 13 years old with my friend James who was 15 at the time. Call of Duty: World at War had just came out, so me and James who were big fans of Call of Duty since we played Call of Duty 2. Went out to buy the game at Game stop, it was dark out i think 7:00 or 8:00PM i don't know what time it was since it happened 14 years ago. But we bought World at War and headed home ready to play the game, but when i was a few blocks away from home. James asked "What the heck was that?" he then pointed at a shooting star, so being curious i looked up and saw the shooting star which didn't acted like a shooting star. All it did was streak across the sky and floated in place for 30 seconds until it floated over to an old house which was struck by lighting twice a few months before, but then the whole block was flooded with a bright white light for 5 seconds until it went away. It was weird at first thinking it was a stunt, until i saw a black mass in the darkness. It got closer to us with a wet squelch sound, like someone was chewing food with their mouth open, it then was illuminated by a streetlight and i gotten to see what it was. Some blob that was about the same size as a VW beetle and was all red, me and James and the mass stood in place for what seem liked an eternity until i heard James say "Fuck this" under his breathe and ran off. 3 of the fastest people i know to my knowledge are Usain Bolt, James, and me, i have never ran so fast in my life we thought we were safe. Until i heard that awful squelch sound getting louder and louder until i saw a dark mass land on top of James, it was that red blob he screamed as it began to suck him into it's body until he stopped screaming. I kept running but in a zig-zag pattern now, to dodge the thing until i gotten home and locked the door and hid in my basement until i fell to sleep. What seemed like an hour later i heard police sirens echoing a few blocks down, i grabbed a knife just in case if the blob thing was still around and went to see what was happening. It was police at the scene where James was last seen, i saw a copy of World at War on the ground and saw it get put into an evidence bag. I finally had the courage to walk over to the officer and told him everything about what happened, i obviously didn't tell him about the blob for feared of being arrested. But i was taken in for questioning and i was cleared of evidence, the next day at high school James wasn't in his football team or the day after that, it was like he was flicked off the face of the earth. People put up posters and billboards to help people find James, the high school suffered the worst football defeat since 1991 cause James didn't showed up. No one knows what happened to him, but i do he was eaten by that thing. 7 Years after that i was on the 4Chan paranormal board when someone posted about something called "The boneless" it was a entity that appeared in the Shetland islands near Scotland, when i read the description that hairs on my back stood up. It was a blob like entity just like the blob i saw and read that it can drive people insane by it's appearance it even tried to push a child off a cliff, i turned off my computer and sat on my bed for an hour. Still 14 years later James is missing, he'll likely stay missing until the end of time.
