The lost Super Sentai tape

One time, I was walking down the street when I saw a flea market. I went to it, and browsed through the stalls, trying to look for some interesting hobby shops. Then I stopped to a Super Sentai (one of the most famous tokusatsu series in Japan) stall. It had action figures, VHS tapes, guidebooks and DVDs. Then I found a tape that says "Choudenshi Bioman Lost Episode". In excitement (I'm a Sentai fan, after all), I asked the vendor how much it was, then he said, "Oh, it's free!" I was thrilled to have a lost ep by myself!

I rushed home and popped the tape in my VHS player (yup, I still have one, and it still works). The Bioman opening played normally, but then it suddenly played in reverse. Then the episode started (without EVEN showing the ep title!) with Gou Shirou (Red One) talking to Peebo (the Bio-Particle's guardian android) about his plan. Peebo immediately replied, "What was your plan again?" (I took Japanese lessons a few months ago, so now I could understand said language.) Shirou-san eventually said, "DESTROY EVERYONE!!!" WTF, I thought to myself, being strange for Red One to act like some crazy killer dude. Then Shirou eventually changed to Red One and began KILLING PEEBO BY STABBING HIM WITH HIS BIO SWORD! I could not believe what I saw! A protagonist killing a supporting character? THIS IS INSANE! Then I kept watching.

The next scene starts with Red One approaching his allies somewhere in Tokyo. Takasugi Shingo (Green Two) said, "What do you want, Red One?" Red replied, "Fight me." Katsuragi Hikaru (Pink Five) said, "What, fight YOU?! You have got to be kidding me!" Red then said in a raspy voice(!), "I"M SERIOUS!" Nanbara Ryuuta (Blue Three) said, "Fine, we've got no choice." Eventually, the rest of the Biomen changed. They tried to fight the uber-crazy Shirou, but they were no match for him. Yabuki Jun (the Yellow Four who succeeded Koizumi Mika, who died in ep 10 of the series) said, "Man, he's strong!" Shingo concurred. Shirou then said in a combination of raspy and distorted voices, "Now, to finish y'all!" Red One then performed his Super Electronic Radar to his allies, killing them in the process. It may be scary for me to say this, but BLOOD AND ORGANS WERE EVERYWHERE from the blast site.

The crazed-up Shirou then destroyed the headquarters, then said in the same scary voice, "All that's left... is the Neo Empire Gear! HA HA HA HA HA!" "WHAAAAAAAT?!" I yelled. (The Neo Empire Gear was the target enemy organization of the Biomen.) Red destroyed the NEG's hideout with a hydrogen bomb, then Japan with another. Then the video cut to static for 5 seconds, then it showed some blood red Japanese text that said "THE END" in a black background. That's when the ep ended. I then pulled the tape out of the player and threw it at the garbage bin in my kitchen.

I've never touched that tape ever since, but I still liked Super Sentai.

However, I could never look at Red One the same way again.
