Under the Bed....
"Oh god she's coming!" "Just stay still and be soundless.." "But she's almost here!" "Shut up!" "AHHHH!!!" "SHIT SHIT SHIT! GET AWAY FROM ME!". These were the last words of two girls named Keyla and Desiree before they disappeared. Their mother claimed that this was what they said. It all happened in the late 1960's. There was a high number of kidnapping at that time. Many of the kidnappers were found and arrested. But of course some were still on the loose. People believed that this kidnapping was made by a sadistic woman nicknamed "The Watcher". She was supposedly a woman who had a medical condition named "Dermatolysis". This condition made her skin look weird. She always wanted to have children, but she never met a partner to make one because of her condition. This was when the kidnapping started to happen. Here is the story of what happened to Keyla and Desiree:
In July 28, 1959, two girls named Keyla and Desiree had a slumber party along with their other friends: Josephina, Lizzy, Mary, and their dog Cookie. They all went to Keyla and Desiree's house for the party. It was a regular slumber party. They had snacks, they talked about boys, watched movies etc. They were watching a documentary about "The Watcher". Mary went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. When she got in, she saw a woman in the bathroom. Mary said "Oops sorry I didn't know there was someone here." The woman replied "That's alright." Mary went downstairs and waited. Keyla said to Mary "You brushed your teeth quick." Mary replied saying "Someone was in there." Keyla gave Mary a confused look. "What do you mean? My parents are already asleep." Mary got paranoid. "Oh it's probably my imagination...".
Mary decided to go back to the bathroom to brush her teeth. She was still paranoid. As she went to the 2nd floor, she saw the same woman in the end of the hallway. The woman entered the room in her left. Mary got scared. She decided to talk to the woman. She went down the hall and went to the same room the woman went. Her heart was beating very fast as she was turning the door knob. The woman opened the door and took the girl inside the room. Mary let out a scream.
When the others heard the scream, they got scared. They ran up to the room and they saw Mary sitting on the chair in the corner. They approached Mary. Her face covered with bruises and cuts. She ran up to them yelling "SHE WILL TAKE US ALL!". After Mary said that, the woman took the child in a flash. The girls ran to their parents' room and tried to wake them up for help. The door was locked and they were in a deep sleep. They ran outside and tried to yell for help, but it was no use.
They got back in the house. Somehow, things got quiet. They decided to split up and try to look for Mary. Keyla and Desiree went to search the backyard. Lizzy and Cookie went to search the attic. Josephina who was the bravest in the group, went to search the bedrooms by herself.
Lizzy and Cookie was at the attic. Lizzy whispered "Mary where are you?". She searched through the cardboard boxes to see if she could find a weapon to protect herself. Luckily, she found a shard of glass as her weapon. She heard Cookie growling at a shadow in the corner of the room. Lizzy's heart started to beat faster. She got closer and closer to the shadow. She threw the glass shard at the shadow but it didn't go through anything. She thought it was just her dog's imagination and she calmed down. Cookie barked at Lizzy. Cookie sounded very aggresive. Cookie attacked Lizzy and bit her face. The dog ran out of the house after it bit her. She lied down the floor crying. She noticed the dark figure next to her. She closed her eyes and started counting. When she counted to 7, she heard flesh being cut.
Josephina searched Keyla and Desiree's bedroom to see if she could find Mary. She looked through the closet but, she didn't see anything. She heard footsteps coming to the door. She hid under the bed. She found scissors to use as her weapon. The door opened and she saw the feet of the woman. Josephina started to ask herself "Is she the watcher?". The woman heard Josephina's breathing under the bed. The women shoved her out of the bed. Josephina used her scissors to try and attack her. The woman grabbed Josephina's hand where she held the scissors and took it away from her. She stabbed the Josephina before she had time to scream.
Keyla and Desiree searched the garden in the backyard. They looked in the greenhouse but they still couldn't find Mary. They saw the woman in the window and hid near the bushes. The two girls asked each other if that woman was The Watcher. The woman went to the backyard and was looking for them. She was trying to look for them in the greenhouse. They ran back to the house and went to their bedroom. They saw the corpse of Josephina on the bed. Her face was mutilated and her eye was gouged out. Desiree let out a scream and the Watcher heard. Keyla said "You idiot!". They hid in the closet as they heard footsteps coming closer.
They were both crying. Desiree said "Oh god she's coming closer!" Keyla tried to calm her down by saying "Just stay still and be quiet..." Desiree replied saying "But she's almost here!" Keyla yelled "Shut Up!". The Watcher finally got in the room and looked around. She was humming a song. Keyla and Desiree was so scared that they couldn't breath. For a few minutes, the Watcher looked through everything except the closet. She opened the door and took Keyla and Desiree. Desiree yelled "AHHHH!!!" Keyla yelled "SHIT SHIT SHIT! GET AWAY FROM ME!" The house got silent.
The parents reported the entire incident to the police. Somehow, all of the evidence in the incident said that their father was the killer. He was executed and the mother moved to Florida.
Little girls claimed that they saw her under their beds. Though it's probably just a urban legend. The Watcher is out there... Somewhere...
