Editing Tips

• When removing unneeded categories from pages, the most optimal thing to do is to remove the unneeded category, click publish, and repeat. But, you should take your time to analyzes the pages with unneeded categories on them, because they may also have conflicting categories on them as well. This makes the process of eliminating the unneeded category slower, but it benefits the organization of the site. 
• Special:SpecialPages - This is a very important page. It holds a lot of useful links and information.
• Special:ShortPages is a great place to find spam pages, and blanked pastas (aka vandalism.) Special:NewPages is also a good place to find spam pages.
• Special:Log - Pretty much anything you don't see on the Recent Wiki Activity goes here. Things such as the latest page deletions, recently protected pages, blocks, chat bans, and more will be here. It's a useful place to keep up to date on things not related to editing.
• If you're having trouble finding anything to edit, try Special:RandomPage.
• Special:MostCategories is a good place to find pastas with an unnecessary load of categories, and potential Category Guidelines violators.
• If you're an editor, it's best to have your preferences saved to always land on Special:WikiActivity (or just bookmark it) instead of the homepage. It's more convenient.
