Yu-Gi-Oh! Spirit Killer
My name is Daniel, and I play a LOT of video games.
This is a story of something horrible that happened to me once. After such a long time I finally decided to share it with everyone.
I was just walking down the street to get some soda when I saw a DS game in a dumpster. The game was Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Spirit Caller. Me and my brothers were huge fans of Yu-Gi-Oh and watched the anime, read the manga and of course played the official trading card game. Playing with my brothers was the best and we were even in a tournament once (in which I placed third).
I grew older and I didnt have anyone to play with because they had all grown up and thought card games was stupid. Thankfully I could always play the video games but I got bored with them rather quickly. But seeing this game gave me so much memories. I opened it up and the game was there, and so was the manual. It wasn't dirty or anything so I decided to just take it, thinking nobody would even care about it.
I got home and decided to put the game in my DS. I started the game and was greeted with the title screen. I pushed start and my adventure began. When Jaden started talking to me, I had to create my character. There weren't that many options altough I could select a hairstyle that didnt look like anything I remembered from the game as a kid. I started thinking that this may have been a special edition game but there was a weird text on the hairstyle that said "Turn game off". I decided to ignore it thinking it was just a strange coincidence.
The principal then showed up talking about the first year of school until he said not to go near the well north of the island because it was dangerous. I was confused but I decided to move on. After all of the explanations about the island, Jaden said that we should go to that well the principal was talking about.
Syrus told him that it was stupid idea so Jaden got a bit mad and went back to the dorm. I was now certain that this was a hacked game but I didn´t have anything better to do so I continued, which is something I still regret doing. I went to sleep and when I woke up Syrus told me Jaden was dead. They found him laying dead on the ground north of the island. The teacher asked me some questions and told me to just continue school.
I was terrified but I still felt like I had to continue. After school, Chazz showed up and told me to duel him. I beat him pretty easily and he got really mad and ran away. The next day he showed up again to duel me. I just barely beat him and once again he ran away. The next day he wanted to duel me again but this time he was serious and he was really angry and could only think about winning.
After a while I finally beat him with only 600 life points left. His friends showed up and started laughing at him saying he was a terrible duelist. He cried and ran away to his dorm. I was halfway to my dorm when I suddenly heard a loud bang. It came from Chazz´s dorm. The teachers told me that Chazz shot himself and it was my fault for humiliating him. The principal told me I was expelled and that I must leave the school tomorrow morning. I felt so bad for Chazz. Maybe I should have just let him win once. I went to bed but I couldn't sleep. My character went outside and walked to the well north of the island. I jumped inside the well and when I landed a little girl appeared. She twisted her head and said "Duel me." The duel started and I got a bunch of good cards at the start and attacked her life points until she said "Enough, you've lived too long, now burn in hell."
She summoned a Skull Servant which had only 300 attack points. I was confused and just started laughing. I then summoned my Skull Knight to attack her Skull Servant when suddenly the Skull Servant started getting bigger and puked blood everywhere. His chest blew up and started to grow tentacles which had big eyes on them. The face started to grow eyeballs everywhere and then yelled an incredibly high scream. The card had changed and now had 666666 attack points but still had the same name.
I couldnt stop my attack so my Skull Knight got destroyed and I lost all my life points. I had lost. Suddenly the girls face appeared on the screen and she said "Now wasn't that fun?". The game froze and I stood still for a while thinking about what I just saw. I took the game and put it in the garbage can where I found it. The next day I thought I should have just destroyed it so nobody else had to suffer what I did, so I went back to the garbage can with a hammer but it was gone. Instead there was a piece of paper with writting on it that said "Now wasn't that fun?".
