Yu-Gi-Oh: The Cursed Cards

One summer afternoon, I was playing the game Yu-Gi-Oh on the Internet when someone knocked on my door. I was thinking who it could be, then I stood up and went to the door and opened it. There stood a boy, he was pale as something scared him. He handed me a Gameboy Advance game named "Yu-Gi-Oh: The Cursed Cards" and dimly said "Please, mister, destroy that game! Don't play it! Yugi is haunting me!" He put the game in my hands and ran away. Sucks for him, I thought.

So I went upstairs in my room and put the Gameboy Advance game on my table and continued playing Yu-Gi-Oh online. Maybe I should play this game, I thought. So I finished my duel and took my DS Lite and put the GBA game in. It started up just fine, although there was a minor thing that I noticed. The Yu-Gi-Oh sign was rotted as if it was made of old stone.

So I pressed the start button and a reversed song started to play. I muted the Nintendo DS, but I could still hear the song playing. I thought it was my imagination and tried to reset the DS but a text box appeared, saying "You'll regret that." Despite this text, I continued playing.

There was a save file named "CURSED". I ignored it and started a new game. As I started it, I saw it wasn't creating a new file but I was in the existing save. I went to look what deck the user had; as I looked at the cards, the monsters looked all sad and afraid. They were looking at me.

There were only six magic cards: "Sacrifice, help, old age, Burn In Hell" and two others whose names I forgot. I was confused because those cards don't exist. So went to the character selection and saw five characters: Yugi, Tristan, Bakura, Pegasus and Yugi's grandfather. They looked depressed, but Pegasus didn't. Pegasus looked different, wearing an evil smirk.

I dueled Yugi. As the game started the duel, I saw the Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl were on the field already and Yugi had 666 Life Points. But something was weird about them; Dark Magician looked evil, his skin was dark, he had black eyes and red pupils and his eyes were bleeding.

Dark Magician Girl looked depressed and pale as if she was scared. Then something weird happened. I had "Sacrifice" in my hand and all of sudden the magic card activated itself. Then I would see a horrifying animation; Dark Magician took a knife out of nowhere, stripped Dark Magician Girl naked and started stabbing her.

She started to bleed and Dark Magician didn't stop repeating his action. He only kept on smiling and laughing. Then the screen faded to black, nothing happened then after a few minutes a scream came from the DS Lite; it made me jump.

Then, when the duel field came back, I could see the field covered in blood and Dark Magician Girl was dead and still bleeding. So I had "Burn In Hell" and it activated itself. So then, I could see something horrible; Yugi Moto started burning. You could see Dark Magician losing control and stabbing Yugi's eyes out. Then, a text box appeared saying

"Why did you do that Nikola? Why?"

I don't know to this day how he knew my name. As I always talk to myself (I know, it's weird), I replied "Sorry."

Yugi said "You'll regret this!" in a demonic voice. Then, the "You win" graphic appeared. I was sent to the character selection screen; the reversed music continuing to play. Then my screen faded to black and Yugi appeared on my screen after a few minutes. He was looking at me with his black eyes which were bleeding, his skin coal dark. I was really afraid, seeing that. I felt so sorry for Yugi Moto.

Then I came back at the character selection and there I could see Pegasus smirking again. Yugi's grandfather looked very angry at me.

So Pegasus talked with me, saying "Good job, Nikola-boy; I see you really like torturing people, I am so proud." I was horrified, I am not a sadist! I would never do that to anyone!

So I replied "I am not happy by doing that, you sick person!!"

"But you just killed Yugi-boy as I see!" Pegasus responded.

My sanity was wearing thin. I couldn't think straight. I started seeing the dead Yugi Moto on my closet, and he had some kind of mirror. I just wanted to take a break. I couldn't stop hearing Yugi saying "You'll regret this." Eventually it went to the point that I was so disturbed, I destroyed the game.
