The Holder of Plagiarism
In any city, in any country, head to a psychiatric hospital. When you reach the front desk, ask to see someone who calls himself "The Holder of Plagiarism". The receptionist will smile maliciously and begin humming a melody, then he will instruct you to follow him.
He will lead you through the labyrinthine halls of the hospital until you two reach a long corridor. From then on, he will start carrying you whether you want it or not and carry you quickly through the floor. Eventually, you will reach the end of the hall and see a large, dark, rectangular hole in the floor. The receptionist will laugh evilly and throw you in.
You will fall. The fall will seem like hours, but eventually you will impact the floor, forcefully but without being injured. It will be completely dark and when you feel forward in the darkness, you will firstly realize that you are in a sort of cave with rock walls and secondly that you, from a certain point on, can only move forward by crawling. Thus crawl through a narrow tunnel and eventually you will feel something small, cold, metallic on your hand. In case you do not feel it, the tunnel will be infinite in both directions.
Take the metallic object and put it into your pocket. Then you will see a weak, flourescend light. Follow the light and you will find yourself in an extensive cave in whose center a shimmering lake lies.
When you look around, you will discover a huddled together, emaciated creature on the floor which will be singing the melody you already know from the receptionist. Shortly after, the being will notice you.
"Ooooh, we have never tasted something like that, what is It, what is It?" Tell your name if it asks you. "Is it juicy? Is it delicious?" Do not engage in this question, instead demand it to show you the exit of the cave. We know it, we know where the exit is! It wants to play, yes, does It?" Affirm this, then the creature will say: "If It wins, we will show It the exit, but if It loses... we will eat It!"
You will have to accept these conditions. Now it will begin to tell you are riddle, try as well as you can to solve the riddle. If you fail, your fate is sealed. If you succeed, it will be your turn to ask a riddle. It doesn't matter what you ask, the creature will succeed at solving all of your riddles. After everyone told and solved three riddles, you have to ask the one question that everyone who meets a holder must ask. This time it is: "What is in my pocket?"
The creature will protest that this is not a valid riddle. Persist on this question and the being will not be able to answer it regardless of its efforts. You won the game, now demand that it shows you the exit.
The being will say "So... we lost." ominously and feel for something. After it doesn't find what it will be searching for it will eventually panic and screech "Where is it? WHERE IS IT?" multiple times.
Do not interfere, just stand there calmly. Eventually the creature will fall silent, turn into your direction and ask in a foreboding voice: "What does It have in Its pocket?" Do not answer this question, as the being will already know.
At first, it will whisper "Give it to us!", then it will scream "GIVE IT TO US!!!". It will then crawl towards you with improbable speed. Run now. Run as fast as you can, if it catches you, it will choke you to death and eat you. It will hunt you through dark tunnels and if you are quick enough, you will secure a head start. Now pull te object you found out of your pocket and you will realize that it is a small, golden ring. You will now hear the creature scream "NOOOO!!! MY PRECIOUS!!!" Now put on the ring and you will realize that you are invisible, since the being will run past you without noticing you.
Follow the being, as it will lead you to the exit. Eventually you will see daylight from the end of the cave. In your invisibility, you are now free to kill or not to kill the being, but I have a feeling that it still has a role to play, whether for good or evil.
Leave the cave, you will hear how the creature is still yelling after you if you chose to spare its life, then you will see a beautiful landscape. Now close your eyes and take off the ring.
You will find yourself in the hospital, holding the small, golden ring in your hand.
This ring is object 1937 of 2538. Keep it well as it is the one object that has power over the others. It has the power to rule them all, the power to find them, the power to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
