Who Remembers That One SpongeBob Episode?

Everyone knows that one popular Nickelodeon show called "SpongeBob SquarePants," right?

It was a bleak winter day in 2005 and I was on break from school. I was up at 5:30 A.M. playing Half-Life 2 on my shitty computer. I had the TV in my room blaring Nicktoons. I decided to take a break from the game and watch some cartoons; I tell you, the gunship boss fight is a total pain in the ass. A commercial was advertising a special SpongeBob episode, and since I had nothing to do, I decided to watch it.

The episode started out with Patrick and SpongeBob outside of their house talking and annoyingly laughing, like usual. One thing I noticed is that the quality was awful - so awful, in fact, that you could barely make anything out. Squidward being his usual grumpy self told SpongeBob and Patrick to quiet down. The screen became more blurry and stretching out of shape. A distorted scene showed Squidward practicing his clarinet. It then cut to static.

It then cut back to Squidward, who looked extremely disgruntled and holding a sharp object. He then went to SpongeBob's house and knocked on his door. SpongeBob opened the door and tried to greet Squidward, but was stabbed brutally by Squidward and started screaming. After a minute and a half of Squidward brutally torturing SpongeBob, it cut to a scene hard to decipher - my guess is that the scene was supposed to be SpongeBob's funeral, as Mr. Krabs was standing next to SpongeBob's grave with Patrick and Sandy mourning SpongeBob's death.

It then cut to a message saying that the channel was hijacked by an unknown person.

To this day, I still don't know what that episode was about. When I try to go to sleep, I dream of that one scene of SpongeBob getting stabbed by Squidward.
