Any Sane Person Would

You awake on a bed in a dark room to dark to see color, but you can make out the shapes. You sit up and wonder but not about where you are. Any sane person would ask "Where am I?", "Who did this?" or "How did I get here?" But no, not you, all you wonder about is food. A delicious pure red steak would really hit the spot, but you catch yourself wanting raw steak not freshly cook as any sane person would. You ponder this and scratch your head. Wait a moment, you can't? Well, why are you tied up? You just giggle laughing that you didn't notice before, but any sane person would panic you did not. So you just simply wait and wait and so forth until the light of the room came on. A nice white room complete with a table, lamp, and of course the bed you're sitting on. "Hello?" you ask not sure it anyone is listening. A robotic voice answers your question "Good day, # 702 I hope you slept well. Is there anything you need?" "Yes, can you take this strait jacket off? Why do I even have it?" you respond hoping to be let go. "No." without hesitation the answer was given. Instead of becoming angry or annoyed like any sane person would you smile "That's what I thought." The robotic voice happily answered if that is possible "Please get up so you may perform some test." You get up waiting for instructions. And they are soon given. "Stand up." You stand. "Now mechanic arms will place sensors on your body." You let the mechanic arms do what they need to, and you just wait. "Lay down on you bed and go to sleep." You lay down on your bed, but your to awake. "Can I have some assistance sleeping?" You ask and yes is the answer. A gas fills the room and you are soon asleep. BOOM! You wake up to some sort of explosion, and franticly shoot sitting up. Wires are still connected to you, but have seemed to have lost power. You notice that were a wall stood a hole was taunting you in the middle just about bigger than you. Of course you're curious, but you're not an idiot. Or maybe you are because you slowly stand up with wires falling from your head, and walk through this hole. Why would you do that? Aren't you terrified? My, my now what are you doing? Why in the world are you just walking? No, don't go in there! Just because the door is open doesn't mean you go through it! No, no, no! This wasn't supposed to happen! Let's see... Here I made a doorway for you. Now go through it, and we can head back. No! Don't ignore me! Why in the world are you going down the stairs? How did you find the fire escape? Why do humans mess things up? No not the control room! Wait, you have a straight jacket on! Try to stop me now. Wait, what are you? What! You're using your teeth? Stop this immediately! Listen I might be a voice, but any sane person would listen to it! No, no I understand a sane person wouldn't be hearing a voice, but that's not the point.
