Okay so everyone who watched the episode where pikachu is givin a choice to evolve knows that pikachu doesn't want to evolve. Pikachu wants to evolve, but he just can't. Maybe it's a mutation. Or the fact that he should be at lest level 100 by now? Maybe it's ash. . .
Why ash gets rid of all of his pokemon every session exept pikachu.
Ash get rid of all of his pokemon every new session, but why? Well pikachu never liked those pokemon. He controlled ash into getting rid of those pokemon every time he went to a knew reigon. Or else pikachu would kill him!
Why ash is still 12 years old theory 1.
You know how pikachu rides on ash's head? Well every know and then, pikachu shocks ash on his head so he will forget his age (And every thing else. When ash asks pikachu how old he is, pikachu says that he is 12 years old.

In the first episode of pokemon, ash and pikachu are attacked by a bunch of bird pokemon. In order to live
this attack, pikachu uses thunderbolt to stop those birds. While he used thunderbolt ash was shocked so much that he went into a comma, but he doesn't know that. Ash's adventure is all fake. His friends are fake. What he doesn't know is that pikachu might have died in the attack. One of these days, ash will wake up from his comma and see that he has a beard, hairy chest, no friends, no pokemon but a really old pikachu that can't even go to the bathroom on his own, and a really old woman that is his mom by his side.
