BO2.exe
Finally, I had enough money to buy Black Ops II. I immediately rushed to Gamestop and purchased Black Ops II. Strange thing, inside was a code for something called BO2 . exe, and a picture of Zombie Mason (from the Rezurrection DLC) was on the slip. I wonder if this was a bonus.
When I got home, I went on the PlayStation Store and redeemed the code. After loading it, I went to Black Ops II. When the Treyarch logo came up, it was made of three 6s. I thought this was weird, but I ignored it. When the menu came up, I was given three options: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Nightmare. Nightmare? Maybe the code was for something to add on the game. But where was the Zombies option?
In two days, I beat the campaign and ranked up to Level 40. I decided to look at the Nightmare. I loaded Nightmare and was brought to the menu. On the overhead, it said N16h7m4r3. I selected a gameplay, Tranzit, and began the map. I was in a bus station and started with the usual, 2 frags and an M1911. Oddly, I had a second weapon. An EMP Spitter. Was this the new wonder weapon?
I survived up to Round 11, getting a bunch of weapons. I was on the bridge when the bus began filling with zombies. Using my upgraded MTAR, I tried to kill them, but the zombies wouldn't die. I pulled out the EMP Spitter, and fired a shot. The mechanical driver broke down, leaving me stranded on the bridge. I began to hear creaks. The bridge was breaking. I tried to get off the bus, but the description said:
"ESCAPE IS IMPOSSIBLE!"
The bridge collapsed, and the bus fell into a lake of lava. My character (some nerdy guy) was on fire, and he started screaming. But the scream wasn't from the game, but as if it was from behind me. The teleporting screen (from Black Ops) appeared. I was in Der Riese. The sign that should have said, WAFFENBRIK DER RIESE, instead said, BO2 . EXE. I was equipped with the Wunderwaffe DG-2, with one clip left.
About 40 zombies came out from one barrier. I used all three shots to kill the first 30, but the final 10 still came. I was then given the Mustang & Sally, but it only had 2 shots left. I shot them, but they became crawlers. I knifed one, but then Richtofen appeared in front of me. His face was rotting black and his eyes were a glowing blue. Richtofen shouted, "Samantha will see you now!"
I was brought to the Moon Map. Samantha was in the Cryogenic Pyramid. Richtofen held the MP40, aimed at me. Samanthat then said, "Uncle Rich will kill you!" Richtofen shot me, and realistic blood covered the screen. Seeing the creepy Richtofen and Samantha made me throw up. I took a rag and cleaned off a section of the on my screen. Cleaning it, I saw some black on the screen. I looked at the rag, and there was red on it. I turned off my PS3 in fear, and the mostly red screen was still on. I was late, so I decided to get some sleep.
I dreamt that I was in Tranzit with the EMP Spitter, on the bridge with the bus. I also had the Ray Gun and the Galva Knuckle. I shot and punched the zombies. But I wasn't getting anywhere. I then realized what my dream was getting at. I shot the EMP Spitter and the bus stopped in the middle of the bridge. The bridge collapsed and fell into the lava pit. When the bus hit the lava, I was taken to Moon. Sitting in the Cryogenic Pyramid was Samantha, holding the Wave Gun. Richtofen was next to me, holding the MP40. Samantha yelled, "YOU'RE GOING TO DIE!"
She shot the Wave Gun at me. I dodged the purple orb, knocking Richtofen out of the way. He shot 5 rounds into the air, one hitting Samantha. I pulled out the EMP Spitter, and shot Samantha. The Cryogenic Pyramid exploded, releasing cold air. Samantha's body flew in the air and landed on top of me, a pool of blood beside me. After that, I managed to wake up.
I rolled out of bed and hit something. My cheek hit a 9mm bullet, still hot. There were 5 of them, and I dropped into a pool of blood. I turned on the lights, seeing a puddle of nothing but crimson. What was even worse was on my bed. It was a corpse. Samantha's corpse, even holding the Teddy. Guess what was on my hand. The Galva Knuckles. I paniced, dropped the Galva, and ran for my dad. I told him what happened, and he believed me (since I had a bullet-sized scar on my cheek, and blood-stained clothes). When we got to my room,everything was gone.
Samantha was gone, the blood and shells were cleaned up, even the bloody rag and vomit on the screen was gone. The Galva Knuckles turned into a brick. I tried to calm down and return to bed. My dad left for work and when I was about to fall asleep, my alarm clock buzzed. Angrily getting up, I saw an eerie purple glow coming from outside. I looked and saw Samantha's teddy bear wearing Richtofen's hat.
The teddy bear stood there, until I heard Richtofen and Samantha both say, "Bye, bye!" The teddy bear flew into the air, dissolved, and traveled upward to the moon. After that happened, I got an e-mail from someone named r1ch70f3n&54m4n7h4. It was a picture. The picture showed Richtofen and Samantha with black eyes and red pupils, devil horns, and demonic grins. In the background was my bedroom, still a mess when I left.
There was a caption that read:
"Good luck, kid. But we'll be back."
I felt a woman's fingers stroking my back, sending a chill up my spine. I felt her getting closer until she whispered in my ear, "Bye, bye." I quickly turned around, and saw no one. Even weirder, when I turned around, the message had been deleted.
Since that night, the game has worked normally, and Nightmare was replaced with Zombies, as it should have. I have been looking to see if the code actually was preped as some kind of meniacal joke, but no such code. I even asked the heads of Treyarch via Twitter, but no success.
