COLORS (Revise)
Author's note: I have no clue what brought me to actually steal a Creepypasta, but there was this pasta I really liked, COLORS, but is was extremely badly written, so I've decided to make my own version. Even though I re-wrote the whole thing the credit still goes the original writer of COLORS.
My name is Alex. I'm a 13 year old German girl and I live with both of my parents in a big house. I have no friends, for I am different. I have autism, but that is not what this story is about! I need to get back to the subject.
You know SEGA's more recent game that came out, Sonic COLORS, right? Well, being a Sonic fan I was excited to get the game myself for the Wii. When it came out I bought it in a normal retailer store which my mom took me to. There was nothing odd on it. No 666, no blood or anything like that. It was just a perfectly normal game disc. The cashier even took the game out for me to see if it was okay. No scratches. It was all perfectly normal and brand new too.
As mom drove me home I was as cheerful as ever. The game had good reviews from my friends and I was glad I could finally play a good Sonic game again since Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. When I got home I instantly rushed up the stairs to my room. I greeted my Sonic collection (toys, comics and figures!) and my other toys. Before walking straight to my Wii, placing the game in and booting it up. Still nothing odd happened!
I skipped the introduction. The title screen was also normal. It said "Sonic Colors" and the background didn't seem creepy to me. I was happy to finally start my game, but when I got to the Menu screen where the save files would be shown I noticed there was already a save file. It was called "SONIC" and was completed at 100%. That unnerved me. I KNEW the game was brand new! The file shouldn't have been there. Althrough, being lazy I wanted to see what's inside, so I clicked the file and it took me to the loading screen.
I spawned in what looked like a completely revised version of Station Square! I didn't even know Station Square was in the game. I decided to run around and talk to NPC's. Mostly humans. They all greeted me happily. Tails was there. When I talked to him he said "Hey, Sonic! How are you doing?" Amy and Knuckles were there too, but I didn't talk to them because I disliked Amy and Knuckles was uninteresting for me. I wanted to see if there was something to do, but there wasn't. Well, the game is over.
I rebooted my Wii to exit the save to delete it. After deleting the game suddenly sent me back to the title screen. Now it just said "COLORS", the "SONIC" missing. I laughed for some reason. I thought I found a glitch, but I didn't know what was going to happen yet. I created my own save file and the game started as usual. Almost as usual. Sonic was alone. Tails wasn't with him as Eggman gave his brief introduction to his "innocent" theme park. Otherwise the cutscene started normally. After Eggman's words, where Sonic was supposed to make fun of him he just stared upwards with a serious expression. Tails was still gone. Sonic walked around the park, all alone, looking around in a nervous, slightly sad way. I wondered why he didn't talk and why the cutscene took so long. Then the flashback scene started that was supposed to come after Tails saying "It wasn't that easy..." or something like that.
The elevator was moving up to the theme park. "Hello, happy people!", Eggman cheered. "Buckle up as Eggman's Ultra-Accelerating Space Elevator whisks you to an interplanetary wonderland of fun!" The camera showed the inside of the elevator. Still silence as Sonic was still alone. The scene cut back to the cutscene as Sonic looked upwards. "Maybe I'll find out who I am here." The parts with the robots chasing the whisps started. It was normal, except for Sonic IGNORING the scene and running off. The first level started, although Sonic was running really slowly and I couldn't finish the level without the help of the wisps! I didn't know what I was doing wrong and I was getting frustrated with the game, so I turned it off and went to play with my toys. (Yes, I still play with my toys!)
I started to play the game again the next afternoon after school. The title screen still showed "COLORS", only the background looked grey and dull. Something was wrong with the game. I still decided to keep playing. The screen remained black after I selected my save file.
"I used to have friends.", I heard Sonic say in an almost sad tone.
"Everything became so dull and boring since I've lost my name."
"Who am I?"
Isn't that something Shadow would say? I still didn't understand! I was surprised Sonic didn't start in the first level, but now he showed up in the revised Station Square, like in the other save. It was almost completely grey. The surroundings, the NPC's.. Only Sonic, Tails, Amy and Knuckles remained in the place still in color. I talked to Tails. "I don't know you..."
What? Tails was Sonic's best friend! How can he not remember him? I watched the screen as Tails' colors faded to the same dull grey. Even his expression seemed emotionless and empty. I talked to Knuckles. He just replied with a "..." and faded to grey as well. I didn't really want to talk to Amy as I don't like her and she'd just probably try to force Sonic to marry her again! After a while of running around, noticing I couldn't talk to any other NPC's anymore I talked to Amy. "Something is missing. It's like the purpose of my life is gone." She also faded to grey and I couldn't talk to her anymore.
The screen faded to black and the GAME OVER screen came up.
Can anybody tell me what happened!? This really scared me! I don't know what this meant!
