Call of Duty: Black Ops Multiplayer

As everyone knows Call of Duty: Black Ops has been popular the past year mainly because of the multiplayer.

You know how you can set up a microphone and talk to people online, right? Something disturbing happened to me on the day of October 12, 2011. I just came back from a hard day of school and turned on my PS3 as usual as I would do everyday. When I got into the homescreen, I got a notification saying I got a message from someone. I went into my messages to check it out. It was an invite from a player I don't have as friend.

I normally get invites from people who aren't my friends but this player was weird. I don't know if it's a guy but I suppose it is. He had special characters like stars and some arrows you would see on a PC as his PSN username. I found it odd because the PS3 itself doesn't have those special characters only letter accent ones. He also didn't have a picture or an icon it was blank. I thought it was just some bot so I just ignored it

After I played like 30 minutes into the multiplayer I get an invite from this person again. I accepted it and went into his party. It was only me and him. The person had mic so did I so I simply said hello? He didn't respond back. I then told him to pick a match but he didn't listen.

It was just dead silence expect for the multiplayer theme. I quit the party because he was taking so long. I checked his trophies and he didn't have anything except for Black Ops. He wasn't on any prestige or even level 2. I started to play a few matches until this guy started to spam and spam my notification. I was annoyed so I joined his party again and I was going to tell him to stop sending me invites.

This is when it gets bizarre. When I joined his party the multiplayer theme on black ops went off and it was dead silence literally. This guy also disconnected my mic. It was silence for a while until his mic started to play an unusual humming noise. It sounded like a loop. I messaged him saying "What do you want?" He responded with an empty message and the noise got louder. I wanted to leave the party but somehow this guy disabled the leave party button. In fact, I couldn't press anything not even go into my home screen.

I was confused. I didn't turn off my PS3 because I wanted to see what he would say. The noise went off for a few seconds then these weird sounds started to play. It sounded like the Wyoming Incident sounds. I was at this point creeped out. I could hear some faint crying. The sounds stopped for a moment. I hear this woman crying for help and it sounded like the guy strangled her and put the mic in her face. She was screaming and crying so much.

I hear a knife go through her and she started to scream like crazy. I was really shocked to this point. I heard the guy stab her various times and at some point I heard her gagging. I was really creeped out and scared. Backwards music started to play out of his mic. He started a match on this map that isn't in the game at all. It was on this desert in the middle of nowhere. The loading screen didn't have a name to it.

It was blank. I got to the class selection screen. I could finally move my controls but I couldn't get to the home screen. I got into the class selection and he only had one class setup. It was a commando with a python, a Willy Pete, a grenade, no equipment, Hardline, Sleight of Hand, and Second Chance. When the match started, the music still played backwards but this time it was so clear that it sounded like my TV speakers were only holes. Oddly, I was nowhere and all the sudden zombies from Zombies mode started to come and chase me.

I couldn't move again. The zombies killed me and instead of having the game over screen, the game froze. I immediately turned off my PS3 and almost started to cry after I heard the murder of a women. For a few seconds I turned on my PS3 again and I get this message from the guy. He only put the subject "I'm coming to get you". I then get this message saying "I'm here, open the door" and I hear someone knocking on my door. I saw this figure that was like 7 feet outside my window and holy shit I was fucking scared. I ran up to my room, locked it, and got my cellphone to call the cops.

I stayed locked for 20 minutes until I saw 2 cop cruisers come. I explained everything what happened from the invites to the hearing of a women getting murder. I turned on my PS3 to show them the messages but they were gone, so was the user everything. The local police department contacted Sony Computer Entertainment to track any information regarding the account but they responded back saying they had no record what so ever.
