I am stuck here. Stuck.

I suppose I should start from the beginning. It was back... I don't even remember anymore. I know it was recent, the medical records of my stay here show that, but I can't remember much else but what happened. I had been a fan of the Pokémon games growing up, like many others. I had a friend Gameshark me a Mew once, long before the Mew Glitch was discovered. Unfortunately, I lost that Pokémon Blue cartridge a long time ago. But I'm getting off track again. Let me send you back to when this all began.

I had been at a market, like many people in the past. I came across someone selling video games. I looked through the lot and nearly jumped for joy when I saw Pokémon Yellow. Good old Yellow. I used to have a Japanese version of it. I quickly payed for it and headed home, eager to play, to regain my childhood memories. I put in the cartridge and was greeted with the opening screen. The nostalgia began.

I played through to where your rival shoves you out of the way and takes Eevee. Oak told me I could have Pikachu, and the usual dialogue boxes and etc. came up. After all that, something I didn't remember came up. "Be careful, it's ... dangerous." I ignored this and continued my journey, forgetting about this for a long time.

When I got to Celdaon City, the first thing I did after healing up was head to the shopping center. I bought the usual supplies, revives and so on, and went to check my inventory to see if I'd missed anything I wanted. I saw a Thunderstone in there, although I hadn't bought one. When I tried to exit the screen, it said, "Not yet, give the stone to Pikachu first." I knew Pikachu refused the Thunderstone in Yellow, but I was curious, so I went and used that stone on my Pikachu. I was surprised to see "Pikachu is evolving!" But, this is where things went horribly wrong.

Pikachu's sprite changed for a moment and back, as expected. But what it changed to was beyond belief. A two headed Pikachu, with one of it's ears from the left (Or was it right? I never was good with directions) missing except for a stump. It had three eyes, sort of in a triangle on its face, and it's nose was gone. The heads were giant compared to the bodies. I left it to evolve, and when it did, it said, "Pikachu has evolved into Pikablu!"

I was shocked. Pikablu didn't exist, everyone knew that. There was something not right here. Then, when it went back to the world map... rather than going back to the shop that I was in, I was, oddly enough, in a strange room that looked like it belonged to the Pokémon Mansion, except it wasn't connected to anything. The room was completely empty, and when I tried to use an Escape Rope, it said, "Pikablu: I want to play. Don't leave me." and had an option box, "Yes" or "No". I chose no, and it said the same thing again, so I chose yes. Then, the Pikachu sprite (Still the Pkachu sprite for some strange reason) that was behind me turned around. Then a battle initiated.

The opponent was a wild Eevee. But the sprite was wrong. Instead of the regular Eevee sprite - a pokemon that shouldn't occur in the wild anyway - it was an Eevee with its legs tied together, with a pleading look on its face. I sent out Pikablu, now named in glitchy letters a la Missing no., and... rather than the normal "Attack, Pkmn, Bag", and "Run" options, I got "save" or "kill". I stared at the game, not believing what I was seeing, but out of curiousity, I chose "kill". On screen, Pikablu jumped up and landed, and then the Eevee got a large gash accross it's stomach, and it's guts started spilling out. I cried out in alarm, but then the screen faded without warning, no faint message or exp. gain, and went back to the room I was in before. Now, there was a sign. I went and read it, and it said, "Killed: Eevee".

I shrugged it off for the moment and walked around the room, until another encounter occured. I chose to kill the Pokémon, a Pidgey (All tied up, just like the Eevee), and the same thing happened to the poor bird. The sign now said, "Killed: Eevee, Pidgey". I shook my head, freaked out now, and continued walking around, trying to find a way out.

Another battle occured, and this time, I chose save. The animation showed the ropes being cut and then the sprite returned to normal. It then immediately ran and the screen went back to the overworld. But a dialogue box immediately popped up, saying, "Why did you betray me? I just wanted to play!" and then everything faded to black on the screen except the trainer sprite and Pikablu. "I'll make you pay for this!" it said, and the screen flashed red. At this point I passed out. Not in the game, in real life. I had recurring nightmares of Pikablu, and the screen flashing red, as well as it's last words. "I'll make you pay for this!"

When I woke up, I was where I now am. On a hospital bed, tied down. I struggled against my constraints while wondering why, until I heard a faint mumbling. A woman. I shut up to listen in, and what I heard was as follows.

Woman: "But he can't be saved?"

Man (Presumably a doctor): "No, Ma'am. He will never be the same. His mood, his actions, they'll never be like they were. And most of his memories will be lost."

Woman: "My poor baby... isn't there anything...?"

Man: "No. This is something we can't solve. His mind will be permanently affected."

Woman: "But... I can never hug him again, not even get close?"

Man: "If you tried, he would attack you. You can't even let him see you anymore."

Woman: "Ever...?"

Man: "Ever."

It seemed the woman was my mother. Suddenly, rage filled me and before my eyes flashed an image of my mother, all tied up, as the Pokemon had been, with the same two options, kill or save. I didn't hesitate before I thought, "Kill." It was strangely satisfying to see the blood and guts fall from her. Unlike the pokemon, though, her body collapsed, lifeless. I grinned to myself cruelly.

The next day, I heard a voice. The man's voice. Talking to another woman.

Man: "Dead? She is dead, Nurse?"

Nurse: "Yes, Doctor. She had a large gash through her stomach, and all her guts had spilled out of her. There was blood everywhere." Man: "Very well. You shall go on with your duties as planned, it's nothing you haven't seen before, after all."

Woman: "But doctor-"

Man: "LEAVE"

I heard footsteps, presumably the nurse leaving. Then I heard the man mumble under his breath, ""He must have heard us, then. Good, all as I planned." Then he walked towards the door, I could hear his footsteps. The door opened and there in the shadows was... it couldn't be! It looked like... As he stepped forward, I could see him clearly. It was Pikablu. "Very good, you responded to the command as planned. Your mother was only the first. Once you are done... I will release you form this state. And you will be stuck knowing what you did to everyone you knew and cared for, for the rest of your life." He turned his back to me, and left the room, laughing cruelly.

I am stuck here. Stuck. Well, except for when he releases me under his complete control, to destroy the lives of those I loved. I can remember each one vividly, but it only brings me joy. For now. I am worried about what he said about returning me to normal. I don't want that, but as far as I know, I am under his complete control and have no choice in any matter anymore.
