Dan the Killed
I want to say that this is a true story. The only reason why this is posted on the Creepypasta wiki is because this story is like one, but don't let your dogma get in the way of believing a victim of supernatural dangers.
I'm just a random guy living in a remote forest. I love video games. I play at least 16 hours per day. You may be asking why I am "dumping" so "much" info. That's not because I love giving unnecessary details, which I won't give in this story (which happened). It's to give necessary background information for this true story, which happened.
Anyways, I was on the app store looking for action games on some Halloween, and I found one called "Dan The Man" (I know that capitalizing the "T" in "The" is grammatically erroneous, but the game had said capitalization.) The footage of the game enticed to get the game (just as much as lemon lovers seeing the next lemon thing), and it worked in tandem with the game's description, which included a fun endless mode titled "Survival Mode". (I know that leaving the period out of the quote is grammatically erroneous, but the mode didn't have said period in its name.)
Of course, I downloaded the game, and started. The Halfbrick and JoHoJo logos appeared, but when the title screen appeared, Dan had a slightly more sadistic look on his face than in the advertisement for the game, but it seemed like he was desperately trying but failing to hide it. I brushed it off, considering the potential updates to the game and the fact that Dan is an anti-hero. Another anomaly with the title screen is that the Adventure button was oddly missing! "Strange!" I said, yelling to the top of my fucking throat! That was a big red flag! Nothing is scarier indeed! I brushed it off, however, as Adventure Mode may've been crap. I then went into Survival Mode and chose the Easy difficulty.
Arena 1 started, and the map was the one with the high platform. 2 Gun Troopers were at the middle bottom one, and I defeated them with ease, in 2 seconds. Soldiers appeared on the left side of the map, and I defeated them in 0.5 seconds. A Gun Trooper spawned on the top platform and a Royal Trooper on the middle bottom. I defeated them in 3 seconds, and then Soldiers spawned on the bottom platformers and the Gun Soldiers on the top. I finished the rest of the Arena in a mere 6 seconds.
Arena 2 started, and this is were things began to seem off! The map was the one with the staircase shaped ground, and Royal Troopers spawned on each "step." After I defeated 2 in 4 seconds, a Bat spawned, and I beat it in 1 second. I defeated the other Troopers in 4 seconds. 2 Attack Drones appeared and I defeated both of them in 2 seconds. Then, Soldiers appeared and I defeated 3 in 3 seconds, but one that spawned had severe scars, seemed like he was crying, and was desperately trying to get away from Dan! Of course, since I basically had to, I defeated him in a second, but while I was doing that, lots of hyperrealistic blood came out of him, and he made a defeaning scream saying "Don't kill me!" whose volume wouldn't lower even when I lowered my phone's volume!
After I (unfortunately) killed him, the Arena finished song played, except it sounded slightly sinister; some notes were added at the end which seemed to signal a villainous victory! I brushed it off as glitch. 1 second before Arena 3, Dan the Man was making a sadistic smile and a small but evilly sounding chuckle! I also brushed it off, however, considering Dan's an anti-hero, and potential updates as well.
Arena 3 started, and this is when the true horror begins! The map was the one with Dan spawning in a thin area with spikes on both sides, and when they went up, there were 2 wooden platforms and the uppermost one being able to have (hard) Cyberdogs spawn on it. 2 Shield Troopers appeared on both wooden platforms, and I deafeated thek. 2 SWAT Flers appeared an I defeated both in a second. 2 more spawned and I also deefeated them in a second. Then, more SWAT Fliers appeared, but at the left and right sides of the map. Royal Captains appeared on both wooden platforms, and I defeated both in 4 seconds. I then defeated he cCyberdogs. Nothing happened after that until a whopping jumber chicken minute later! "Strange!" I said, screaming to the top of my throat! T'was a big red flag! Nothing is scarier indeed!
When something finally happened, a Royal Trooper appeared on the left wooden platform (I was on the top platform), taunting me unusally much for the previous ones that spawned in my run so far. I upkicked on it, and the game froze (for 5 seconds) as the Trooper had a similar face expression to the thumbnails for the famous and scary Roblox Experience (like The Night Shift Experience) games,, except that his mouth was horrifyingly open!
After it finished freezing, the game whent to a black background, and the Royal Trooper (looking at the screen, with the same face expression, except that he bleeded much more blood from his eyes and his mouth was fortunately closed, but was unfortunately frowning) slowly faded in for 30 seconds. Text then appeared, reading, "You just started this game and you are already a serial killer? Already causing unnecessary harm to innocent people?" for 5 seconds, then another one appeared, reading, "We are people too. Dan the Killer will not be welcomed." For 10 seconds, and the n yet another one appeared, reading, "However, Dan the Killed will be welcomed, and so will Dave the Killed." for 15 seconds. How on Helly Earth did the game know my name?! I never gave it my name!!
30 seconds later, the Royal Trooper started smiling opened his mouth to unrealistic proportions as he held Dan and the game's reaction of my appearence and slowly moved them to his mouth for 30 seconds, and then hyperrealistically gorily ate them as they screamed terrifyingly (again, like that Arena 2 Soldier, the screams were defeaningly loud and I somehow couldn't lower their volume even when I turned down the volume)!
Then, text reading, "Your real life self is next. You better be good." appeared for 20 seconds, and both it and the Trooper faded out for a minute. Then, a defeaningly loud scream (its volume yet again cannot be lowered at all) played, except that it sounded like my voice! The game then scarily closed itself.
I was scared shitless, but didn't uninstall the game because it was so good. I then got my Santa suit and started trick or treating (at 11 PM, and I didn't trick or treat earlier the day). When I went out, the Royal Captain was standing on the door of the house 3 blocks from mine, and seemingly hurriedly ran at me as it screamed like a fucking banshee (except that it was terrifying), but I closed the door on it, and it couldn't get me. I then got a cross and pointed at the Trooper. It then horrifyingly screamed of extreme terror, extreme horror, and extreme pain as it ran away. I then realized that I was a bad person for playing such a sadistic game. Dan was a fucking monster, killing innocent people for fun, and that I needed to work on what I thought was fun!
I also realized that the Royal Trooper was once a good person, but Dan's antics had made him go insane, lose all sense of morality, and become a demon! However, I still didn't uninstall the game, because it was so fucking good.
I then went back outside to trick or treat, and got a decent amount of candy (filled my whole bucket), but especially candy themed after a cross over of Christmas and Halloween. The Royal Trooper didn't bother me, but he might in the extremely near future.
I am writing this journal down because I'm not sure whether I live, and want to warn others the danger of playing as a monstrous and sadistic designated (even designated anti-) hero constantly killing innocent people and having the potential to turn other innocent people from angels to demons!
Please send this story to raise awareness of the sadistic game, and to support people who's experiences have been supernatural, and therefore many people would arbitrarily disbelieve cuz' of their dogma. I don't want others to share a similar experience to mine, and certainly not hurt innocent people, even in video games- DON'T LOOK BEHIND YOU! I'M NEXT, AND YOU'RE PROBABLY NEXT AFTER ME AS WELL!
