Familiar Face

We've all seen it. That pair of eyes staring back at you. And as much as you'd like to turn away, those eyes seem to transfix you. It moves with you, copying your every twitch, every slight movement- it's following you.

You remember the face, but you're not quite sure where from. It's like your parent's faces; the face looks safe, but it's not to be trusted. The second you break the gaze, you're at risk.

For what makes this creature so terrifying, is that when you look away, you've truly got no idea whether or not it's there unless you look again because this creature makes no noise, no sound whatsoever. It doesn't need to breathe. It doesn't need to rest. And perhaps worst of all, nobody knows its intentions.

So just be careful.

Your reflection might not be so harmless after all.
