Infection
I am here to document the outbreak of the infection. This is the ongoing journal of Jerimiah Jones.
4th of July 2015
Everything was fine on the 4th of July. As the parade ended there was a weird noise but I shrugged it off to just hearing things. I was sitting enjoying some soda when all of a sudden all the dogs started barking, the sky shot lighting even though there were no clouds, then a huge explosion came from the other side of town.
The pieces from the floats flew over head. Screams started bellowing through the air, I bolted home. I checked the news and the sky cam caught some type of meteor which came, destroying half the buildings downtown. I grabbed the most radiation protective clothes I could find (The page is all messed up here from water, I can make out words as terrible, death, and destruction)
5th of July 2015, Day two of the outbreak
After a what seemed like minutes more news came on. The meteor from the previous day contained some type of black and red ooze. I might go investigate after lights out if no-one else is there.
5th of July 2015 entry 2
I am investigating as I write, perplexed, by the black and red ooze. As for the destruction, it looks as it did yesterday. I have discovered when you try to interact with the goo, it will defend itself, confusing me even more.
I am going to take a sample and will be examining for the next few weeks, (Now once again the page is covered in something maybe goo? No words can be made out)
8th of July, Day five of the outbreak
That goo is out of this world. Its nothing I've ever seen before. I don't want to take it to the scientists because they will just take it. This thing is more than ooze, It started glowing. Wait, its breaking out of its tube I have to RUN!!
9th of July, Day six of the outbreak
Last night was horrible, it infected the whole city, I am one of the very few survivors. I am going to fight against it even if I got some on me. This thing is evil, very evil. I am going to sneak out of the base camp tonight to scout the path.
9th of July, Entry two
I am scouting. Lots of infection has spread all over the city but I have cleared the path it appears the infection hate (Page messed up) That may be are biggest advantage in this war.
I have had the feeling that the infection is his friend. But that may be the infection on me getting to my head... I need rest.
