One day I attempted to get the Home Brew Channel on my Nintendo Wii, so I emptied my virtual console games from my SD card and moved them to my computer. I found the Home Brew Channel boring and I decided to delete it off my SD card and tried to put back my old games on my Wii. There wasn't enough space and I was annoyed by that, so after a few months I got a new SD card. When I put in the new card, I got back all my games and put it in my Wii. I wondered what game to play, and I saw that Kirby Super Star was among the games on my Wii. I chose to play Kirby because I hadn't played it as much as the other games, and thinking about all the memories I had playing this when I was a child, I started the game.
I saw the intro and everything was normal. I selected Dyna Blade as my game character and selected 'Continue'. When I did, it skipped the copy explanation. So, I decided to go to the Power Up Gallery. My favorite ability was 'Fighter' so naturally, I chose it. However, as soon as I got it, I knew something was wrong. Instead of seeing Kirby slamming down his fist as the Ability Card, I saw Kirby with the bandana on his head, frightened, with a shadow covering him. I thought it was weird because Kirby was never frightened in his Ability Cards. I tried to send out Knuckle Joe, but every time I sent him out he would always die. I didn't really think anything of it so I just left with Fighter and went to the first level.
Everything was normal except whenever I walked past plants there were tiny cuts along them. I played through the level expecting to see enemies, but there were none. I even expected to see Chef Kawaski but he wasn't there either. I then went to the final boss Dyna Blade and there was nothing in the level. There were no credits and I was brought back to the game selection. I thought it was really weird, but I skipped Cave Offensive since its my least favorite of the games.
I chose Megaton Punch and the game was completely normal. There were enemies to go against and it seemed like it was untouched, and functioning correctly besides the other game. I thought that the game was back to normal but I was wrong. I skipped most of the games because they didn't interest me all that much.
After trying out a few different games to make sure that they were working, there was a problem with the Gourmet Race. There was no King Dedede but I had faith in the arena, so when I started I chose Ninja. The ability card showed Kirby using the Ninja Teleport to hide from the shadow from the Fighter card. I decided I wanted to try something different, so I chose the Sword Ability Card. This title card horrified me.
I saw Kirby frightened and his sword shattered by another sword. I came to a realization that the sword was Meta Knights sword: Galaxia. I quit the game since that's the only enemy or weapon I saw in the game. I left the arena and decided to get a drink. I sat on the controller by accident and the game turned to a new game called Your End. I went onto the IGN website to see if this was normal but it wasn't. I clicked the game and I was shocked as I saw all the enemies and bosses lying on the floor. I saw spike enemies thrown at everything and sword cuts. I ran forward to a room and saw Meta Knight standing with a textbox saying, "Kirby, Join me. Join the dark side. Let it go. How about you Tom? Join or die."
I was shocked about him saying my name, I knew it wasn't normal, so I made Kirby run away. But Meta Knight threw his sword I made Kirby inhale it. Instead of inhaling the sword, it went straight through Kirby! Meta Knight started laughing a demented laugh that hurt my ears and almost busted the speakers of the T.V. Another textbox came up saying," Run while you can! I will be near you all the time, you can't escape me Tom." I turned off the game and I was shocked. I looked all around and there were cuts everywhere! My room was wrecked with cuts. I saw my Meta Knight plush I owned untouched. I ripped it to shreds and I heard a loud scream that reverberated throughout my entire room and I and fell unconscious.
I woke up in a hospital bed and saw a doctor and I asked what happened. He said I fell in a coma for 3 months. I stayed in the hospital for 2 more days and I was asked what happened to me by the doctor, as well as my parents. I explained what happened but they didn't believe me. I know you will so stay away from Kirby - Tom
