Let Me Out
It's there... With me all the time... In my head... It won't leave me alone.
My name is Trey. I've been having these dreams for a while... weird dreams. I know they're not normal, because they're too realistic. It starts out with me running through a forest, with something chasing me. Near the end, I trip, and the creature heads towards me. The last thing I see is a shadow. Last night though... It was different. It started out normal, but when I tripped, I got a good look at the thing chasing me. It was tall, slender, with long, sharp fingers. It had bulging black eyes, no nose, and its mouth was stitched together. It looked at me for a good while, then spoke: "Let... me out."
My eyes shot open and I jumped up to a sitting position in my bed. It was all a dream. I walked to the kitchen, got a drink of water, and went back to bed. I couldn't sleep though.
The next night I had the same dream, but after it spoke, I didn't wake up. "Let... me out." "Okay! Fine! I'll let you out! Now leave me alone!": I said. It then smiles as best as it could, and disappeared. Now, I am seeing it not in my dreams, but in real life. Others can see it too. I fear I let some demonic force out of the darkest depths of my mind. I fear for my life. Wish me luck...
