Missingno's Curse

I am Alex and I was a fan of Pokémon... was... it all changed when I was 11 and playing Pokémon Red.

Intro

When I was 11 at the time my mom bought me a Gameboy. Following with a few games. Super Mario Land, Dr. Mario, and Pokémon Red. I played them in order.

Day 1

I was at the final game. It was awesome. I was too addicted to it that I tried finding exploits and glitches. One of them was the walk through walls glitch. I had way too much fun with it. even if it was too corrupted. My friend told me about a glitch simply called "Missingno". My friend told me the exact words. "DO NOT SPAWN MISSINGNO! Its really dangerous and will affect you like it affected... me...". And as a stupid child like all of us I did the glitch. When I saw Missingno my jaw dropped. it was amazing! Why did my friend not want me to spawn it? it was even level 0! I used my master ball. and I went to the professor to tell him about it. when I got there... The professor was gone. I talked to the other lab professors. one of them said "7h3 pr0f3220r !2 d3@d.". I was confused. I looked closely. did it say what I thought it said? I shrugged it off and stopped playing. I went to sleep.

Day 2

I woke up. the first thing that came in mind was to play the game at night again. at school I saw some people was acting weird. my friend didn't talk at all. no one was talking in class like usual. and the teacher didn't do roll call. later at night I played it again. I was greeted by a white screen saying "PRESS START". I slowly pressed start. I was at the professors office. no one was there. I went out and there was nothing but blackness. I saw white leading me to act 1. I went to act 1 and it said "act ". I saw red. strange. there was no red in any Gameboy game. maybe this one is special? I walked, and walked, and walked. nothing. then I tried to go back. my character did nothing. I was forced to walk forward. I then saw a Pikachu covered in blood. I knew it was blood cause I watched some shows with my dad. I heard pikachus cry. a message block appeared and it said "someone hel--". was it Pikachu talking? a picture of Pikachu's face appeared for a split second. I sworn it looked like pikachus eyes were gone and his mouth was shadowed with black. the game froze. I turned it off and went to bed. shifting and turning. I couldn't rest. until suddenly I woke up while its day. weird.

Day 3

I played it one last time this night. I was in lavender town. I saw peoples bodies. one of them was alive. he said "mi2singn0 i2 inf3cting u2. h3lp pleas3.". I realize what happened. I went to the gravestone outside. I thought all graves go inside that tower. I read it and it said "Alex's Grave". my character isn't named Alex. an image of a skeleton flashed and I fell asleep suddenly. i woke up with my mom hugging me. I was in the hospital. i was in a coma. I couldn't forget what happened.
