Sacred.exe is a program that from 1999-2001 mysteriously appeared on user's desktops. When opened, the file shows several links to picture files that contain Masonic-like symbols. Nothing odd about that, only considering that each of the photographs have a somewhat odd background. In one of them, the background appeared to be an empty sofa which appears to be stained in blood, and one with the background being the picture of a man in mental-state. Each of the symbols were the symbols of a notorious group of serial killers that slaughtered many in the late 90's in central Illinois. The photographs in the program were the same photos that were found at the scene of the crime of those murdered by the group of killers. In 1998, one of the murderers committed suicide in prison after he was caught a year earlier. More users discovered more gruesome photos over the time as it appeared on their desktops. Most of the photographs being photos of the killers' victims' corpses. Such as a picture of a dead child lying in the middle of a country road in a pool of blood. No CSI's reported investigating this case, so the photograph was most likely shot by one of the killers. To this day, the explanation to how this program appeared is still being investigated. After 2001, all remains of the program oddly disappeared and wasn't to be found. However, ballsy users saved the gruesome photographs of those slaughtered to a hard drive, and sent them to the same crime labs that investigated the photos with the Masonic-like symbols. Most of the people in the photographs were identified, but the killers have gone missing ever since the program stop appearing. Still, nothing explains the symbols. Many believe that the symbols are a subliminal message. The question is, for what exactly? This program hasn't been spotted on desktops since early 2001, however, if you ever come across this program, for your own good, don't open it. The photos may shock you to a state where you'll lose your mind, and I don't want to be responsible for making you go crazy.
