Listen, I know lost episode creepypastas are stupid now. They're all the same bs. "I wAs WaTcHiNg ThE mUpPeTs aNd KeRMiT KiLLeD mE wItH hyperrealistic blood AnD cRYing!!!!!!111!!!111!!11!" This one isn't like the other lost episode stories. This one is real.

Danny Antonucci, creator of Ed, Edd, n Eddy, once stated in an interview that he had the idea for an episode called "Special Ed", but it was dropped because it was "too real". Some say it never went past the concept stage and nothing was made of it. That's not true.

I couldn't sleep last night so I turned on my TV. Late at night, Boomerang plays older cartoons such as Codename: Kids Next Door and Dexter's Lab. It was at the time showing some Ed, Edd, n Eddy episodes so I figured, "Why not?" and changed the channel to Boomerang. I can't remember the first cartoon they showed, but it was a basic, ordinary Ed, Edd, cartoon.

Then a commercial break and on to the next cartoon. The title card showed, "Special Ed". It wasn't your usual weird and abstract title card. Instead, The background was just a really saturated red and white Arial font displaying the title with no music. I was confused. I don't know why I didn't record the episode or even use my phone. I guess I was just distracted.

The episode starts off with the Eds at the bus stop. Eddy is planning a big scheme to, since they are the first ones at the bus stop, they can charge people to get on the bus. Double D tells Eddy that this is wrong and immoral. The bus comes and goes with Ed being the only one to notice it leave. They run after the bus and it eventually stops to pick them up. The other kids in the Cul-de-sac are already in the bus laughing at the Eds. Eddy complains on how he hates going on the bus since, "There's too much people on here to see that you missed the bus." He whines about how everyone will laugh at them at school once word spreads. He looks out the bus window to see another smaller bus passing by.

"Double D, ain't this the only bus that goes to the Cul-de-sac?" Eddy asks. Double D looks up from a dictionary he's reading and answers, "Yes, Eddy. Why do you ask?"

"'Cuz there's another one right next us," Eddy says grabbing Double D and shoving him to the window to see. Double D explains to Eddy that those kids are in that bus because they are in the "Special Education Class". Eddy does not know what that means. Double D explains, "These poor children cannot think or do simple actions correctly and need even more help than other students to learn so they are put in another classroom. Since they do not have many students in their curriculum, they go to school in a smaller bus."

Ed exclaims how that isn't fair and wants to know how to be able to ride this bus so he decide that during lunch they will go to their table and ask them. Finally, the bus arrives at the school. Double D advises that it isn't a good idea, but Eddy ignores him. Soon, it's lunchtime and the Eds go into the cafeteria.

They reach the table and we get a good look at the kids. Now, to describe these children... Have you ever played the game Grim Fandango? (Side note: It's a really good game you should play) You know when Manny goes into the Land of the Living and see all the people there? That's exactly how these children looked like. They were like a collage of facial features from a magazine glued together to make out a face. Some of them were playing with their food while others simply drooled over them.

The Eds are unnerved by the children, but Eddy decides to go up to one of them and say a simple, yet awkward, "H-h-hey there..." The child responds with an ear piercing shriek. Ear piercing shriek is actually an understatement. It was an, "I have to lower the volume from fifteen to one or else my parents will ground me for a week" mix between a police siren, a Velociraptor, an elephant, and a dolphin wail. Eddy is terrified by the scream and runs behind a tall, undisturbed Ed. Eddy notices a "normal looking" girl there and begs Double D to ask her. Double D nervously comes up to the girl and politely asks, "Excuse me, may I ask how we can be able to ride alongside you in your school bus?" The girl blinks and screeches in Double D's face.

The bell rings to return to class. As the Eds walk back to class, Eddy whines about going on the bus. "What do I do, Double D!?", Eddy cries. Double D simply says,"I apologize Eddy, but there is nothing we can do. None of us are in the conditions where we need that bus." Ed slams into the door and laughs. Eddy gets an idea. When they get in the class, Eddy scribbles on Ed's face with markers and puts tape on his face. Double D keeps telling Eddy that it isn't doing to work, but Eddy shushes him. Eddy brings Ed to the teacher exclaiming that Ed needs special education. The teacher believes him for whatever reason and takes Ed out of the class. Eddy is ecstatic that since Ed is on the bus, Ed will be able to bring him on the small bus.

Class resumes, but Eddy, who is sitting next to the window, sees that the small bus is leaving school already with Ed inside. He leans over to Double D sitting next to him and whispers, "Double D, why's the bus leavin'?" Double D whispers back, "Oh, that is because the kids with special education... leave... early..." The Eds look at each other and both cry that they need to use the bathroom.

They run out of the school and chase after the bus. Ed is screaming for help from the bus since he wanted to stay at school with Ed and Double D. Double D yells out that they are going to save Ed while Eddy is ready to ride the bus. The special ed children poke their heads out the bus and start to screech again. Their faces turn red and they turn more distorted and angry. They start throwing books and crayons out the bus to hit Eddy and Double D. After a while, they throw Ed out the window and he lands on Eddy and Double D. Eddy gets up and yells, "This ain't over! I'm gonna get on that bus even if it's the last thing I do!"

We get an inside look of the bus. A special ed student grabs a hold of the wheel, turns the bus around, and messily chases after the Eds. The Eds run away off camera screaming, the sound of tires screeching, and a splat sound effect. Then the screen fades to black and a Boomerang commercial plays. I was confused to say the least. I didn't sleep that night wondering what just happened. That's when I did research for the episode. No other traces of the episode existing except for the interview. I regret not recording it. Hell, I even regret seeing it. I have too many questions. Was Cartoon Network aware that this was broadcast? Was it supposed to? Did the Eds really die at the end? Who knows? I won't.
