Star-Spangled-Banner (Modern Version)

O say, can you see, by the barrel's firelight
What we carelessly hail at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars can no more stop a fight
O'er the ramparts unwatched, but the flag still keeps streaming
And the terrorist there, bombing good ol' Times Square
The country's at war, so why's our flag still there?
O say does that vandalized banner yet wave
O'er the land of the unfree (Thanks, Obama!), and the home of the gay?

The economy's crashed, poverty fills the air
The prez does not care, and he just sits there LYING
And at this point I see that it is very clear
Democrats are no good! Only Republican's still trying
And if we killed all 'crats, the US may at last
Again rise to power, like the olden days past
My dream is to see that great banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave.
