Steven Universe: Onion Loses It

I was working as an intern at Cartoon Network in 2017. They had been working on the Steven Universe Movie. They had an episode on a VHS tape (strangely) called "Onion Loses It". I found it in the trash and inserted it into the VHS thing we had in the break room. The post-Amethyst regeneration intro played, but Onion replaced Steven. "Wh-wait what??" I blurted out. I kept on watching. The intro, instead of "Steven Universe", said "Onion Universe". The title card said "Onion Loses It". A coworker came in and saw me watch the episode, so she said "Can you- I fuckin' threw that in the trash for a reason!" I sighed dramatically and said "So what, I can't handle a little joke episode with effort put into it?"

I looked at the screen again and Onion suddenly had a knife. Steven was mostly angry, and said "Hey, that's MY knife!" Onion said, suddenly in Zach Callison's natural voice, said "Steven, I've just about had it with your self-centered BULLSHIT!" Steven was taken aback by this, and so was I. Steven rightfully said "Y-You're like eight! This isn't normal Onion! You don't talk, you don't use weapons, you're just... generally creepy!" Before he could pull out his shield, Onion yanked Rose Quartz's gem out of Steven's belly button and started to crush it and stab it, all with his knife. Steven had already fainted, his skin pale. Now, Onion had gem shards all over his body and bloodshot eyes. He ran towards Steven and started stabbing his body. As expected, there was blood, but I didn't expect it to be so fluidly animated...

Soon the main three gems ran into the room, with Amethyst in her original design. "ONION?!" she yelled, with Pearl gasping in horror and Garnet looking as horrified as her face would let her. Steven was dead, and his blood was on Onion's knife. The screen started to flicker with static and I was just kind of unnerved at this, not so scared. Soon, all of the gems were on the ground and Sapphire's was shattered, with Ruby's under Onion's foot. The screen soon broke into static.

After a couple of minutes of me scrolling on my phone, I looked back up and Onion's bloody gem-shard-covered face filled the screen. Zach was heard saying "Why the hell did you make me read tha-" then the tape ejected from the VHS machine. I took it and stormed into Rebecca Sugar's office. She looked stunned and said "Why do you have that tape?" I replied, "Mikayla threw this out and I was unfortunate enough to take it out unscathed. I have a few questions..." Sugar nodded, and made a hand gesture that basically said "Go on." I then asked, "One: Why did you make the episode?? Two: Why's the episode so short? And three: Why did you include the audio clip at the end?" They replied "My answer to the first one would be I wanted to make a Creepypasta episode without fans making it instead. For the second one, when I got past writing the Creepypasta part, I didn't want to write any more of this. And for the last one, I requested the editors to put it in to diffuse the tension put in."

I nodded, put the VHS tape on the desk, and left. So that's when I got home and started writing this... It's a good thing it's not haunted or anything, that would just be formulaic!
