The Girl and The Painting
My story starts when I bought a new house. It was a nice old house with a private 3 acre lake and i got it cheap. When I got there i looked around inside. All was normal, until I got to the kitchen where on the wall across from the oven was this strange painting. It showed two people facing away so I could not se their faces, and they were behind bars like they were in jail.One had long hair and the other had short hair. There was something not right about this painting so I tried to take it off the wall, but it didn't budge. I just walked away to see the rest of the house. I was on my way upstairs when I heard something from downstairs, it sounded like laughing. I turned around but saw nothing, but the laughing continued. It was coming from the kitchen. I slowly walked downstairs and turned into the kitchen and nothing could have prepared me for what i saw. I saw a little girl in a dress standing at the far side of the kitchen. Her face looked so evil even though she was smiling, and when I came in she just stared at me and stopped laughing. After about 5 seconds she sped towards me, and i took out my phone and snapped a picture. When I looked back, she was gone. I slowly moved into the kitchen then turned to look at the painting. The painting was different, the people in it were not facing away, but were facing towards me. Their faces were shadowed and sad. I did not know what to think of this. That night I was in bed and i heard the horrible laughing coming from downstairs. I did not want to but i opened my eyes, and i swear i saw the two people in the painting standing there, watching. It happens every night now, the laughing, then i know the people are watching me. Every time I see the painting,it changes. Most of the times its the shadowed sad face, but sometimes its a demonic smile. Now every time I look at the painting I see something new, in the corner, is the girl with the dress. Watching, Always watching.
