The Lost SpongeBob CD

One day, I was at my cousin's house. We were playing video games, and talking about our favorite childhood show, SpongeBob SquarePants. I told him about my SpongeBob DVD collection, and he turned to me, and said: "Speaking of DVDs... I found this lying on the side of the road on my way to school yesterday. Here." When I came back home, I was curious. I opened my DVD player and put the DVD inside.

When I started the DVD, I pressed play, and the SpongeBob intro played. It was very distorted and seemed reversed. I shrugged it off, and thought it was a scratch on the disk. I continued watching it. The menu opened for the episodes, and it was just static. I waited for the menu to be back to normal for over 5 minutes. So, I decided to fill my flask to pass the time. When I came back, the menu was pitch black, and this appeared:

Hesitantly, I clicked the OK button on my remote, and the episode played.

The episode had no intro, or title card. I sat back and watched the episode.

It started inside of the kitchen of the Krusty Krab. The camera is stuck on SpongeBob, who is just standing in front of the grill. After 2 minutes, the camera was still on that frame of SpongeBob's back, as he's standing in front of the grill. Growing impatient, I tried skipping the scene. However, the screen was frozen. I just sat there and waited for another 2 minutes before the DVD went back to normal. It was of Gary, meowing at SpongeBob. Gary is one of my favorite characters, so It's always good to see him. Although, something was off. The scene of Gary starving, from Pet Sitter Pat, appeared. It cut to a storyboard. It showed SpongeBob kicking down the door, in a fit of rage. Gary begs him for food. SpongeBob turns around, and says "Gary, I told you to shut the hell..." SpongeBob's sentence gets cut off, as the screen goes to black. When it comes back in the next scene, it shows SpongeBob's house a bloody mess. The camera zooms onto SpongeBob, laughing on the ground, as he is holding his beloved spatula, now bloody, and bits of Gary's shell on the ground. The camera cuts to Gary, lying on the ground, with his shell broken open. A clip of SpongeBob running on his house while singing "Best Day Ever" plays. While he's singing though, screams are heard in the background. A fully animated clip plays, of SpongeBob jumping off of his wall, as a snap and a loud thud is heard. It shows SpongeBob, lying motionless on the ground. The camera pans out. I just called it a day after and went to sleep.

I tossed and turned in bed all night that night, unable to get a good night's sleep. Caving into my morbid curiosity, I turned on my TV, turned on my DVD player, and went onto KRUSTY.MP4. The Title card was just plain white, with no title or nothing on it. I told myself "Huh. That's weird." and continued to watch it. It opened with the scene from Krab Borg, where Mr. Krabs is counting his money. A animated clip plays with SpongeBob barging into Mr. Krabs' office, and SpongeBob yells "WE HAVE CRAB FOR LUNCH, PEOPLE!" The camera pans out of the Krusty Krab, and multiple sounds of slices, and Mr. Krabs screaming is heard. The camera then zooms onto Squidward, who is hiding inside of his boat. SpongeBob walks outside, all bloodied, and the camera zooms onto him. He has bloodshot eyes, has a devious smile on his face, and is holding a knife in his hand. Squidward then runs outside of his boat, in a desperate attempt to escape. He tries to run inside of the Chum Bucket, which is locked. Squidward pounds on the door, repeatedly yelling "HELP!" The camera pans out, and slices and Squidward screaming is heard. The episode ends with the outro but reversed.

Afraid, I burned that DVD, and I swore on my life to never trust my cousin again.
