Zelda: Skyward Sword

I recently saw a commercial for the new Zelda game, Skyward Sword. I've always loved Zelda games since 3rd grade. I went to the game store and asked a manager when they are expecting the new Zelda game.

"At least not until November 23rd," he said.

Lucky for me that's only 4 days away. I told him thanks and something caught my eye. It was a Zelda Skyward Sword reservation, I purchased it and left.

As the 4 days passed I finally went to the store. I picked it up and took out my reservation card. The game is recently 50 dollars. On the back I could get it for 10. I gave him the card and drove home.

I inserted the game into the Wii. I turned the channel and picked up the Wii remote. I started the game. The intro wasn't presented. Instead I found myself in the Sparring Hall, that's what it was called. An instructor was there with a missing mouth. I tried to speak to him but a dialogue popped up and it said "Try again later".

I spied a door and walked toward it. As I entered I saw a blue chest. I opened it and got a sword. The screen began to fade out. I must say this isn't what I was expecting. I ended up at a place in Skyloft. It was near a bridge. It was night also. My Loftwing was in sight, as I walked up to it my trail broke.

I reached my Loftwing and its leg was missing along with it's one eye. I turned around and jumped off the ledge, which I regret doing. No sound played. The picture was fuzzy too.

I ended up back in the same area but with a glitchy path, in fact glitchy town! It annoyed me and I kept running on the trail, which seemed to never end. I ran to what seemed like forever. I finally stopped, very annoyed. I turned (or at least tried to) turn off the Wii.

A box popped up that said "Please, don't leave. I'm having fun! Watch your back..." then it faded to white. I grabbed my sword in the mean time and kept it with me. Whoever's doing this could still be out there. I locked my windows and shut doors. I sat back down and continued further into the unexplainable.

I wasn't able to use my sword at sometimes or I wouldn't be able to go to a certain place. When I tried continuously a message would say "nice try, but I control the game."

I never said or did anything, I just sighed. It came to the point where I called my friend. She came to a voice mail. "Hi Sophie, it's Hannah here. I know you told me you had that new Zelda game and I want to come over and see what yours is like. I'll explain more later. Call me."

I hung up my phone and my friend didn't call until 3 hours later. I told her I'd be on my way. As we played the game I realized something isn't right. I didn't want to tell her, I'd sound like I'm going insane. I told her I had to go and we should try to meet again.

As I left I thought why would the game do this? Is it me? IS it a message? Hackers? I don't know. I'm trying to dig deeper.

When I got home I realized my TV had already shut off. I decided to get some rest. As I was sleeping I heard my name being called repeatedly and I saw things that I can't even describe. It was scary, not a joking nightmare. It was one where I needed therapy but I didn't go. I tried more that day. I had no choice but to.

My game froze and it said, "nothing here today, leave". It shut off by itself. I went to my friends again. She wasn't home. I left and as the hours past I got no sleep. I read books, but it was nearly impossible. I kept seeing things. Shadowy figures, etc.

I got up and played the game, it froze as soon as I selected my file. I got back on and they each had a message, RUN. HIDE. DIE.

I burned the game and hoped to get some sleep. I did manage to live better. Every now and then I have flash backs, or visions. It's not as bad as it was.
