Pac-Man World 3: Suffering

Hello everyone. The name's Susan.

So, I have never played Pac Man World 3. I watched my friend play it, but I have played Pac Man World. Well, on Christmas, my friend was going to her uncle's house for the holidays and said I could play this Pac Man World 3 game while she was away. It looked an awful like a bootleg but I said, "Thanks, Pattie" because I didn't want to hurt her feelings.

When I got on my PlayStation, I put the CD in and the title screen was normal. But the memory card looked strange. There was this weird girl on it with brown hair, a pink T-shirt, and shorts. But her eyes were 100% black, with stuff bleeding from them. I decided not to mind this and started a new game. So, it started out as usual, with Pac Man being teleported to the Outpost. It actually functioned like it was supposed to, but near the end, when I was in the Spectral Realm, that's when things got wacky.

Each time I went in a cutscene, that weird girl from the memory card kept appearing, but no one noticed her. When Pac Man was talking with the Spectral Fiend, I decided to pay attention to the girl. She looked kind of....pained. Like, she wanted to get out of the game. Strange. But I decided to ignore this and keep on. After losing lives and a long journey, I eventually defeated Erwin. But, right before the end, I came upon a level titled "..." But, It would flash to the word "SYRU" for a split second. Then, that girl popped up, except she was in 18-bit and on a black background. Then she asked "What's going on?" Then she repeated it, "WHAT'S GOING ON?!" Then she said "You notice me, you see me, but you ignore me!!!!!" Then the game proceeded normally, and Syru (I think that is her name) didn't appear in the end.

But, I played that other memory card, the one with Syru on it. Then, Syru was at the Spectral Realm, except it was ruined. She looked RIGHT at me and said (well, not really asking, just words that appeared with some sound), "Are you scared of me?" There was a YES or NO box, and I pressed NO, because I wasn't really scared of her, but she was a little creepy. Then, she asked, "Do you care about me?" Again, there was YES or NO. I pressed YES, because i thought she was a bit pained. Then she said, "Look 'round" And it zoomed all around the Spectral Realm. "It's destroyed because of you." And then she said (for real this time), "I AM DEAD. YOU WILL SOON JOIN ME." And then, finally, the game ended. I was relived.

Then I destroyed the game. Forever.
