Line 21:
After awhile I made it to the Elite Four. Across the entire game it only had the pitter patter as background music, and those shadows followed me wherever I went. Strangely enough, I almost never encountered any wild Pokemon, so the only way to get XP was through trainer battles. I thought this was weird, but thinking nothing of it, I continued to fight the Blue. It was a strange fight because the only Pokemon he had were Rattatas. He also had more than six Pokeballs. He had around six to eight. After I defeated him with ease, I entered the Hall of Fame.

Within the Hall of Fame, there was a sea of purple. Rattatas were all over the room, crawling over the dead, blood-covered body of Oak. I ran out of the room and ran past Blue, who was being eaten by his own Rattata, blood on the ground surrounding him. The Rattatas started to chase me as I ran. I ran all the way back to Pallet Town, the army of Rattatas only increasing insize with each passing town. I ran into my house and into the corner of my room. The Rattatas surrounded my as a loud crunching noise came from the Game Boy speaker. The battery light turned red and shut off after that. I turned the Game Boy over to look at the batteries. It was empty. I forgot to put batteries in the system last night, but didn’t notice because the game turned on anyway. I opened my window and chucked the Game Boy outside. It broke into pieces on impact. I looked at it for a few minute, wonder what happened. Then I saw a small purple animal walk to it.

The rat started sniffing the broken Game Boy case as it was followed by others. They were crawling from underneath porches, out of sewers, but most were coming from uncut grass from people’s lawns. I closed my window and ran downstairs to barricade my home. When I got to the door, I saw that the door was not there. There was just a gigantic hole where it was. The rattatas saw me and started flooding into my house. I managed to run out the back of my house and to my car. The Rattatas were now covering the entire neighborhood. I heard screams from everywhere, the pitter patter growing loud.
