Sonic ran at hypersonic speeds, and so did shadowthe other sonic. But sonic did not want shadow to beat him so he went at near impossible speeds. Sonic could normally go at the speed of sound, but this time he went 6 times the speed of sound. Sonic went so fast that he set fire to the road. Shadow was way behind but that didn't stop him. Shadow caught up to sonic in the blink of an eye, he was going mach 8. But Sonic was not going to lose so he did the unthinkable, he was going mach 10 speed. Everyone thought he would never reach it but he did, but for only 2 minutes. Sonic was not paying attention to the road and crashed into a gas station and it exploded on him. Shadow brought him to the hospital as quickly as he could. Sonic was nothing but a skeleton, quickly losing blood, he had no hope of surviving. Sonic died on the bed at the hospital with him loved ones next to him.
