I got to the dining room and I was greeted by my family shouting "Happy Birthday!" and a cake on the table. I sat down and my dad cut a slice for me, but the knife he used was strange; it had pieces of sponge on it and I linked it to the image of Spongebob I saw in the hallway, his eyes cut out of his face. I ate the cake regardless, a bit too much cake infact. Feeling ill I went up to bed and turned the light off.
I layed there, I could only think of Spongebob and that menu screen, it was haunting my mind when it was only an innocent DVD! However before I could think of why this was happening I fell asleep and woke up the next day, buzzed to see what that mysterious button could possibly [[File:Animated-light-bulb-gif-20.gif|thumb|My Lightbulb Flickering ]]hold inside it. So I went downstairs and turned on the DVD player, I went straight to the out of place button and pressed it... the screen went black and my light bulb flickered I went to grab a pillow to hide behind but something deep in my head stopped me. I just stared into the dark screen, until I heard Spongebob laugh and that image I thought of the other day came back to me and took place on the screen, but I could tell It wasn't really there since It was a vague picture. I looked for the remote to turn it off, but the actual picture of Spongebob appeared. Gruesome as ever with his eyes bleeding and a large smile on his face apart from he didn't have any teeth in this picture. The TV and DVD turned off at this moment and I felt myself with a headache. I went upstairs to my bedroom to play with my LEGO Spongebob Krusty Crab
The next morning I woke up to find the fully built LEGO set on my desk, something felt off about my room, although I could see nothing out of the ordinary of it. I went to the door and grabbed the handle, but I couldn't turn it or push against the door. Something was keeping me inside, I turned around and a poster of Spongebob was on the wall, it seemed normal at first but it slowly became the mutilated version of him I had seen on my screen, I covered my eyes but I saw the exact same picture when I closed them. I ran to the window and I opened the blinds to see darkness, and when I looked at the clock it said 9:00 so it was strange that it was dark already. I heard the door open and I ran for it, I wanted to get out of there as soon as I could.

I got down to the kitchen and the sink was pouring out blood, my mother sat at the end of the room with her chest ripped open and her organs hanging out of it. I felt something grab my shoulder and I swiftly turned around and I saw my dad, dying on the floor. Trying to tell me something but I couldn't make out what he was saying when his mouth had been ripped apart. I ran for the phone to call the police but when I dialed it all I heard was the Spongebob theme tune backwards. Was this all a dream? So many thoughts were rushing through my head. I didn't know what to do, I just fell to the ground and began crying.
I heard a low pitched voice saying "why are you doing that?" I didn't know who or what it was, or what their intentions were. But I simply replied with "my family's dead..." I looked up, and I saw the horrific Spongebob again. But this time it was real. He said "not your brother" I stopped crying, and looked Spongebob in his
I grabbed Spongebob's chest and ripped it apart, showing his skeleton he had felt no pain and closed in on me. I looked at his heart, pumping slowly I went for a lunge at it, but he grabbed me by my neck and looked at me. I blamed myself for this, wanting that CD... pressing that extra button, it was all my fault. Spongebob took me to the bathroom and turned on the shower. The water was red like blood and he told me to go into it, I did as he instructed but he grabbed my
I had woken up in hospital. With no serious injuries and when I was sent back home all I saw was a burnt building... where my house once stood... I blacked out...
