Terraria: The Black Lens

You've all heard about the rare black lens? You know, the rare item, which has a 1:99 chance to drop. Sadly, its powers are misused, and are only useful for sunglasses. Although, sadly. I found the true meaning for the black lens.

T'was 9-28-11 when I first got the great Terraria game. I was excited and began the game, making a sort of blond girl, default hair, and named her Susie. As well as starting a medium sized world, I did a last minute world name. Just hammering down any other letter's in gibberish. After starting, I grabbed wooden tools, and quickly level'd up to gold weapons and picks in a matter of Terraria days. Then those dreaded words appeared on my screen.

"A blood moon is rising". Frozen, I stared and grew excited, a blood moon? I thought before sitting in my three story home, each story six blocks high. I saw the array of monsters just coming my way, I was excited and scared at the same time. Slaying zombies and demon eye's with a gold sword, before it dropped.

After the moon fell and it turned day I checked my inventory and looked through it. Finding the black lens I went to my guide and looked at the recipe. Frowning, I put it in a trash can I had set down, near my bed. Of course not throwing it away, just storing it. I should have thrown it away.

A couple more Terraria day's had passed and I went on happily. But it slow turned deadly, the first signs were the fact of 4 blood moons in a row. Then the sheer amount of demon eyes on a normal night, over stacked the zombies. Then the near end. I saw those dreaded blood red words, all in a row.

'Skeletron has awoken!' 'Eater of worlds has awoken!' 'Eye of Cthulhu as awoken!'. All in a row, before seeing the new green text 'YourMaker has awoken'. Of course I thought it was a glitch, and ignored it. As well as it being day time it could not have attacked me. I was wrong, very wrong.

Before I could even notice it, a creature, so horrific, attacked me. How I could explain how it looked like...Well let's say two 'Cuthulu's' eye's as it's eyes, the arms of a 'Skeletron' as well as the face, and the multiple Eater of worlds' as it's attack. Scared I squealed, but it did nothing as I saw the gore incise and the repeated word's 'You were slain...'. It did not leave, hell I needed to create a new world to escape the loop. Then I saw it followed me.

The new world gave the same text 'YourMaker has awoken' in the same shade green. Growling I stopped the game, as in pausing, clicked 'save and exit' and escaped. Then I saw the night, it was a blood moon night, as well as the other's as the day and night cycle'd on the title screen. I just glared and clicked 'exit' as the tab closed. My arm's crossed and a dark look in my eyes as the mouse began to delete the game in total.

Today I turned on my computer, to see a screen saver, animated. It was 'YourMaker' laughing at me, I just stared after so long. Then I blinked and it was gone, my original creeper screen saver sat. Afraid I just sat there, before watching some YouTube videos, trying to forget the idea of 'YourMaker'. Terraria is now off my laptop, in hopes to never play it ever again.
