The Man Behind You

You know that feeling when you feel like you are being watched? You are.

There is always a essence of some sorts behind you, or in your blind spot. Rumor has it that if you were to look at it for even one second, that you would lose your eyes. They would be torn straight from your skull and piled onto a collection of any poor bastards' eyes who saw the terror.

Nobody is really sure what it is. It could be a demon, or a shadow, or some ghost. Nobody can see your demon, they can only see their own.

I've heard that it is almost impossible to see it though. If you turn around, It's behind you, it always is. If you hide in the corner of the room, it is above you. If you look up, it's in front of you. It is always where you aren't looking. Cameras can't capture it, nothing can except your eyes.

It follows you through life, if you think you're alone, it loves that. You might want to think twice when doing something alone, because the longer you are alone, the closer it gets, until one day, it finally gets you, and you disappear from existence.

I've spent almost all my life alone, and I don't have long left. I am just warning you, don't stay alone for long.
