The Obscure Man
So, you are walking down 5th street in New Orleans looking at all the history that goes there that was knocked down. you glance at a old raggedy house from the 19th century, flooded from the top to the bottom. You see this middle aged man walking through the kitchen just walking around obviously not realizing the water filled room that he is living in. You sprint over to the wrecked house avoiding the power lines in the puddles and yell at the man trying to wonder what the heck he is doing. You knock on the windows trying to get his attention but get no such luck. He leaves into another room and you walk back to the road wondering what the heck you just witnessed. Out of curiosity, you look back and the man is standing 10 feet in front of you, Just staring into your soul looking like he is gonna attack from you invading his space, comparable to an animal. This time he has maggots crawling through his eyes, he has a butcher's knife through his buttoned up polo shirt, you look down at his feet that has feces spread all over it and cockroaches covering his "special parts". You close your eyes for a couple seconds and BOOM! Organs and livers all over you, you wipe the blood out of your eyes to see the guys body parts everywhere and bones that made a hole in your foot. You walk away hoping to never witness anything horrifying as that ever again.
You get home and go to sleep hoping to never encounter something like that again. you have a nightmare, in it is a guy who looks like the guy you saw that day who had a wife and he murders her and burns her body in his rusty oven. You look closely at the name tag that he had on his work shirt most likely from his job, It reads "Joseph Murray". Not being able to handle it anymore you wake up and look him up on the internet. You find out other people have heard of him and there is an article about an "Obscure man murdering his wife in an oven". You read it and it says hes an urban legend not too popular from people outside New Orleans. It says a man in 2002 murdered his wife and commited suicide with a butcher's knife and haunts the house he went to and they never knew about the murder until after Katrina hit for a strange reason and now he haunts the house. 6 people have witnessed it and have reported it to authorities, they were going to search but found a strange pattern that all 6 people who have saw the man up close have died within 2 days of encountering the man. You jump up and run outside in fear and you see the man in the road 15 feet away who is walking closer. You wonder what the heck is going on but the man grabs through your chest to your heart and rips it out, he continues to maul on you until bones and parasites remain. An eye witness encounters him and sees the man and the man disappears in front of his eyes and lets out an evil laugh in the air.
