I finally decided to apply to be a chat moderator. Recently and unfortunately the chat has gone to hell, multiple users are spamming, stretching the window horizontally, linking porn and linking other chats. The problem is that there are hardly ever any mods there and I happen to join every time I see that there are users there, so I'm pretty sure that I would do a lot of good for the people there actually trying to have normal conversations without the chat being flooded with crap. If I were a moderator I would easily be able to deal with these situations instead of just sitting there and waiting for it to blow over.

If I were a moderator these problems could have been prevented.
