Two and a Half Men - Lost Episode

Ever since the first episode I watched Two and a Half Men had been my favorite show. It was hilarious, even in the newer episodes where it was getting worse I still laughed at lease a few times in every episode. The ones with Charlie in were always the best though, way better than the ones with Ashton.

For some reason I could never find some of the episodes on TV, so I had to watch them on a site called watchseries.eu. I also sometimes used this to watch episodes I was really looking forward to, before they aired in the UK, such as "Why We Gave Up Women".

One day while I was going onto that website to watch an episode I saw something strange on it. There was something kind of like an advertisement that said "Tonight at 11:00! See the lost episode of Two and a Half Men! Available for one hour only!". As soon as I saw this I decided I was going to watch it and I was gonna record it so I could sell copies of it to everyone and make a lot of money.

So until 11 I occupied myself by watching other episodes of the show. At 10:58 I made sure to quit the one I was watching and just wait till 11 to make sure I didn't miss it. At 11 I went to the Two and a Half Men page on the website and looked through the episode list. At the end of the Season 8 episodes I found the one I wanted, Season 8 Episode 17. The title was "Goodbye Charlie". This must've been a quote from the episode as that's how they always name episodes in this show except for the pilot episode...

I clicked on it and was instantly taken to a video, which was weird for this website. The video loaded and I began to watch. It started with a "Previously on Two and a Half Men" as it had been doing for the last few Season 8 episodes. This bit ended with Charlie and Rose leaving for Paris. It then played the shortened version of the intro used in some episodes. After this I noticed the first strange thing, the only two actors listed at the beginning were Charlie Sheen and Melanie Lynskey. This surprised me, usually Alan and Jake were in every episode.

The episode was quite boring actually, it didn't really have a plot, it was just Charlie and Rose on holiday in Paris. It was funny at some parts though. Finally a plot began to develop about 15 minutes in. Charlie proposed to Rose and she accepted. Then she left to go shopping and Charlie began talking on the phone. By the words he used I knew he was speaking to a hooker. It then cut to the hooker coming over and Charlie and the hooker getting into the shower.

Then it cut to Rose re entering the hotel. She walked upstairs and heard the shower was on. "Charlie, are you in there?" she said as the pulled the curtain back. She gasped as she saw Charlie with the hooker (off screen of course). Now it cut to Charlie and Rose in bed. Charlie was apologizing to Rose and she said she forgave him. But as they went to sleep you could see an evil look in Rose's eyes.

Now it was Charlie and Rose walking in front of a train track. I knew what was coming, having seen the Season 9 opener. The camera zoomed in on Rose as she whispered "Goodbye Charlie" in a demonic voice. She then pushed Charlie onto the tracks just as the train was coming. I expected the camera to point somewhere else, but I got to see the whole thing and it didn't look like effects, it looked like a real person being ran over by a train, with blood everywhere.

It was so disgusting, I vomited all over the floor. The episode then cut to the credits. How did they make this? Did they know they were gonna fire Charlie? Did they pretend to re-hire him and made this? Did they really kill him? As I was thinking about these I looked at the video comments. All of them were hateful and angry about the episode. The rating for it was the lowest I'd ever seen on the site. I checked my recording. Nothing was there. No way to prove the episode existed.

Only the people who had seen it that day ever believed it existed. I met with some of them on a forum website, proving I hadn't made the whole thing up. The question still remains though, what did they do to Charlie?
